Im considering to start lvling a druid slowly without a rush,
with future plan to play a bit more during the winter as a healer.

Got a question - is a moonkin (balance) spec good for lvlling?
I dont want to play melee anymore, but wondering if feral isnt like 2 times easier to lvl up?

Any experienced droiod could help me a bit?

I lvled up 2 druids, both feral. Moonkin is nice too but you have increased downtime from drinking. Feral on the other hand has no downtime at all.

So if you're not in a rush, moonkin may be your choice. Feral still is faster though.

yup truu dat.I went with feral to 70 and then turned into resto.There was no dual specs at that time.It's pretty easy to get em instance groups going.

I'm currently leveling up a moonkin druid every once in few days. Downtime related to mana corresponds with the drinks level too. As lvl 44 I had a 3.2k mana pool, where the biggest available drink gave me 2k mana over 20 secs.
Myself, I didn't like leveling as feral, it didn't seam fast at all (was feral up to lvl 39). Might be due to the fact that I had crpa gear (Deadmines hammer all the way). One way or another - get the heirloom shoulders that give you 10% exp.

Well in the beginning i will agree with these guys that mana is a hug issue so I would go with feral in the beginning aswell.

To be honest I dont want to melee anymore, im to lousy to run around hunting mobs, and preffer to do it from range.
And prolly i will have 100% of the time companion of 80lvl friend (this is main reason to lvl up new char, chit-chat etc.) so mana may not be so big issue

No one is saying you cant lvl up as a moonkin we are just saying it will take alot longer but if you are totally bored about melee then gogo laser chicken.

And to keep gear in decent shape while lvling.If you would have linked account it wouldn't be any prob since you can get some gear @ 60 and then start going on with outland q's.But as it was said choice is yours.

i leveled up as resto back in the days... but then again, that was the only choice i had, since i needed innervate, and it was a 41 resto point or something
No idea how it is to level a druid up now, but i could only guess that feral would be the way to go, once you can get mangle atleast.

Ok, after all i'v decided to lvl-up as feral till some higher levels.

Could you propose me some good leveling feral build?

depending what you wanna do while lvling.Wanna tank instances or just solo quests?I think Tanduli at least has kitty dps spec on other and mine is too for kitty dps atm.Check em from armory if you wanna go miaupewpewdiipiies.

depends on hair colour these days...
And btw there is new glyph for lvl16 or so Glyph of Claw and every inscriptor can learn this from trainer so should not be prob to get it.

Could you advice me some nice addon for tree-healing?

Consider Heal-bot since Grid seems to be too complicated to setup.

You dont really need mods for healing. Xperl raid frames are very much nice enough and show everything necessary.

Namino, you also don't need glass to drink vodka mixed with beer. Been there, seen that. ;-)

On more serious note - im new to drood, so really could use good addon for healing, at least till i will know healing "rotation" better.

there really isn't any that would help you out. Rotation on druid healing? What is that?
RG,Reju,LB,WG,Nourish,Nourish,start again... or something like that. Just keep em hots up, that's enough most of the time.
Oh yeah, Reju + Swiftmend when you need fast bigger heal. Or Natures swiftness + HT. And remember glyphs too. Ok too much blaablaa here now.
