Indey, worgen druid - accepted

Personal Information

Name: Tomi
Age: 20
Nationality: Finnish

Availability: I'm active player and i can raid 3 days a week easily.

Why Enigma order?:
I'm looking for a good raiding guild which has a good progress, but the most important thing is that guild is mature and friendly.

What would you give to enigma order?:
I'd bring my good attitude and high activity to the guild, i would focus on our progress on raids, study tactics and help others if needed.

Character Information

Character name: Indey
level: 85
Character race and class: Druid – Restoration MS and Boomking atm. as OS

Reasons as to why you are not in your previous guild/guilds: I'm still in my current guild Nocturne as a raider, mostly for the perks. The reason why i want to change guild is our activity: we havnt done raids for a long time and i'd like to raid after a break and since there almost no pug groups my only solution was to find a new guild and i consider your guild to be the most best for me.

I still need to reforge some stuff and get enchants for shoulders but that's an easy task
I also have 3 other lvl85 char: warrior, priest and a mage

Previous raid progress:
I started playing in TBC and i played in free servers for about a year, i cleared all bosses there in TBC, also when i started playing the real deal in WOTLK time i cleared all WOTLK raids. In cataclysm i have only done BoT and BWD a few times but im more than eager to raid some more!

If ther is anything else you might want to know, feel free to ask me.

Unenchanted gloves and the shoulders that you mentioned.

Few questions about your gear and spec:
Can you explain why do you sit at 1657 haste instead of some other number?
Why do you have pure spirit gem in legs?
Are you aware of gemming rules for resto druids?
Why do you use Glyph of Regrowth instead of Glyph of Lifebloom?
Why do you spec for 3/3 Furor and 2/3 Moonglow, even when Moonglow is superior to Furor?

Haste causes HoT's to tick faster and potentially gain extra ticks, that's why i prefer it.
I have pure spirit gem because of the gem bonus that i gain, i know i could have picked purified demonseye instead.
I'm aware of resto druid gemming rules.
The glyph is a pure mistake imma change it right away so no excuses there.
and for the last question: i changed that furor to moonglow

HoTs ticking faster is irrelevant, you don't get any added throughput between the extra tick breakpoints. For druids the 2 key breakpoints at current tier are 916 for 5th Rejuv tick, and if possible to reach, 2005 for 9th WG tick - between those, mastery (and even crit) is better stat. That's why I asked about the 1657 (which is now 1707 due to glove enchant).

When it comes to gemming, you shouldn't gem for bonus unless it's 20 intellect or you need to activate meta gem. You have 3 yellow gems, and the worst socket bonus seems to be 10 haste on the feet or the chest, loosing 20 intellect for 20 spirit+haste. The bonus on the belt shouldn't be worth gemming for either.

Additional question: how does Tranquility work?

I'm not pretty sure what u mean by that question, but tranquility is an aoe healing spell that you should use always if your raid starts taking lots of damage. It also ticks 5 times, over a 10 sec period.

That is the part I'm interested in. Explain the mechanics of spell, how it works.

Re: Indey, worgen druid - accepted

When I hinted about looking at the tooltip, that wasn't the end result I was hoping for. A proper answer would have been something like:
- Tranquility sends out 4 waves of healing during 5-8s, depending on haste.
- Each wave heals 5 targets with lowest health on range (smart heal).
- Each heal is a direct heal combined with a HoT component
- HoT component ticks 4-6 times (4 base ticks, same breakpoints as Rejuv) over 8-10s (the base lenght is 10s)
- If the same person is healed multiple times, the HoT effect stacks up to 3 times

However, as using Tranquility doesn't require to know how it actually works, this was just something to see how technical information you have on restoration druids.

We will get back to you within few days.
