Regardless of its quality (ilvl), is you gear fully taken care of? Safe for some specific cases (eg. an item about to be replaced next week), we expect everything to be gemmed, enchanted and reforged optimally.
Yes, my gear is fully taken care of. I somehow accidentally managed to vendor my 397ilvl wand, I'll get it back next reset so that'll boost my ilvl by a few.

Tell us about your alts (armory links included), how good are you with them:
My priest: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/r … o/advanced  Main during tier 7. Realm first malygos
My druid: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/r … i/advanced Main during tier 8-12. Realm first yogg+0
My paladin: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/r … i/advanced
I play all my alts well.

Raiding Experience (be thourough here, the more information you give us, the better; both pre-Cataclysm and present progress is interesting for us; tell us about previous guilds):

Vanilla: -

TBC: Started playing late tbc so I didn't get to experience any raids then.

WOTLK:
T7  Played my priest Eplo back then in a guild called Rebirth (Anachronos). We cleared everything and got realm first in every raid. Unfortunately I was away when they cleared Naxxramas and Sartharion so I only got realm first malygos.

T8 Rerolled feral dps in Ulduar. Left Rebirth and joined a finnish raiding guild called Ninjapartio (Darksorrow). Managed to clear everything in tier 8, Realm first yogg +0. Ended up being world rank #131.

T9 TOGC 25/10 5/5, A Tribute to Insanity from 25 and 10man. World 39 Anub 25hc kill, ended up world rank #116.

T10 Took a break during ICC and didn't get to experience any raids then.

T11  Left Ninjapartio (Darksorrow) and joined Exploding Labrats (Stormreaver). Killed 13/13hc before nerfs, World rank #61. Realm first every heroic boss except chimaeron (realm 2nd).

T12  Killed 7/7hc before nerfs, Realm first ragnaros. World rank #45. Rerolled to feral tank from feral dps in Firelands.
Ragnaros heroic first kill video if someone is interested. (Finnish language)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kY6unRC_ … ature=plcp (1st part)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8UjeMvAf … ature=plcp (2nd part)

T13  Left Exploding Labrats to play with friends. Ended up transferring to Ravencrest where we started our own guild. Didn't work out that well and I took a break from wow. I recently started playing again on my mage and I currently have 4/8hc.

Incase someone missed my character and guild rotation:
T7 Shadowpriest Eplo in Rebirth (Anachronos)
T8 Feral DPS Hauski in Ninjapartio (Darksorrow)
T9 Feral DPS Hauski in Ninjapartio (Darksorrow)
T10 Took a break from wow
T11 Feral DPS Hauski in Exploding Labrats (Stormreaver)
T12 Feral TANK Hauski in Exploding Labrats (Stormreaver)
T13 Currently playing my mage Permafrost.

What attendence should we realistically expect from you (for the sake of clarity, please note that while our Monday and Thursday raids start at 19.30, the Sunday one starts at 18.45): My attendence will be 100%

Any external factors affecting activity we ought to know about (in particular, any of the days we are raiding at that does not suit you): No.

At this point of time, how long do you expect you will continue playing WoW: To the end. I currently don't have plans to quit wow.

Why are you good at playing your class (don't qoute Elitist Jerks, don't give us the stuff every semi decent guide holds; convince us you're good your own way):I know my class inside out, but im also looking for ways to improve myself (trying out different reforges etc). I keep myself up to date with sites like mmo-champions and elitist jerks.

What do you consider the most significant pros and cons of your class/spec in the current state of affairs: High dps, good burst damage, good survivability (cauterize and iceblock). Overall I think mages are one of the best classes atm.

When approaching new content, a fight that both you and the raid will try for the first time, how do you prepare (be precise here, "I read tactics on internet" doesn't cut it; we seen our share of players who" knew tactics for all bosses" and then failed miserably in terms of actual preparations): I usually watch videos and read up articles about the boss. I also have friends in top 40 guilds so I usually ask tips and tricks from them.

Given Spine of Deathwing heroic was one of the harder fights recently and required certain specific actions and execution, tell us how you prepared for it. Again, be very precise (don't tell us "I bursted!", tell us how exactly you did it).
I haven't done the fight but I think I got the idea. Roll 3 amalgs, nuke amalg to 10% (while saving cds), 9 residue, blow up the amalg, pop cds and nuke the tendon, another 9 residue, blow up amalg and finish the tendon. 2nd tendon is the same, but with more bloods. At 3rd tendon bloods will spawn much faster and they need to be kited, other than that its the same as 1st and 2nd tendon. And also healers need to sort out the dispelling, Red debuff needs to be dispelled and yellow debuff doesn't. Grips need to be sorted aswell. From what I've heard arcane mages are very good at this fight so I would respec to arcane here.

Why are you applying to The Enigma Order, what made you choose us, when and where did you first hear about us: I recently came back to wow and decided to find myself a 25man raiding guild. The Enigma Order's raid days are really good so I decided to give it a shot. Found the guild from wowprogress.

What do you expect from us, as a guild: Quality players, good activity and a friendly community.

Please confirm that you have read and understood our rules and they are ok for you (yes, this is our way to ensure we're not asked somewhat silly questions that are already answered in writing at the Rules section of the forum): Yes I have read the rules and understand them.

When unsure about any aspect of the game, be that tactics, class specific assignments, how do you proceed: I do research and ask my friends or guildmates if im unsure about something.

Why do you play WoW, what are your objectives, why commit more than 10 hours a week to a computer game: My objective in wow is to have fun and I consider raiding fun. Theres nothing better than beating a new boss for the first time.

Is there anything else you would like to include that may assist your application. I'm dedicated and skilled player. I also am my own worst critic. I know when I mess things up and it pisses me off so I make sure it doesn't happen again.

Hardware/Connection (we assume your computer and connection are fit for raiding, only tell us about out of oridinary stuff):

CPU: AMD FX4100 (3.6 OC’d at 4 GHz)
RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengeance
GPU: GTX 560 SE, 1GB

And internet Connection 100/10

Re: Permafrost - Fire Mage - declined

Thanks for the application.

Few remarks:
- funny coincidence that both you and us, as the guild, originate from the same server, Stormreaver. From this perspective, even more funny that you found us on Ravencrest via wowprogress. Was it Stormreaver's Rebirth who scored server first Malygos?
- to be fair and square - we are not at the level of seriousness (ie. hardcore) of raiding as EL and honestly, we don't really aspire to compete for server firsts etc. Even more so granted our relaxed, 3 days per week schedule. Are you sure we are what you're after?
- your gear is quite a fair bit behind that of our mages. If I am to try you out as a test player, I won't really take that into consideration a great deal - I would expect you to compete with considerably better geared players in terms of dps. Are you certain his is the right time to start your test period?

With all the caveats expressed above, we would be interested in trying you out, since our caster team could still use some golden touch. Please either answer here or contact me in game to discuss.

Nope it was Rebirth from Anachronos. http://www.wowprogress.com/boss/Malygos … anachronos

I don't take raiding that seriously that I used to do. Raiding 5-6 days a week is little too much even for me so 3 days per week is perfect for me.

I know my gear is a bit behind, but I feel like I can compete with everyone else. Of course my dps won't be the same as 405ilvl+ mages, but I always do my best. I've done multiple top 20 wol ranks over the years and I don't see why I couldn't do one now.

Just about the answers I was expecting and hoping to hear.

Now that you have member acces to the forum, you should be able to see much more sections. Prior to joining your first raid, make sure to browse through the sticky in Guild Talk section addressed to new members, that will get you started nicely. Also, set up TS3 client.
