Wolfman

Here it goes dont know where to start this, but i really want to be apart of enigma again,i know i left the guild and transfered to another server ,but

to be completely honest i couldnt handle the pressure in the end,so i tried something new out, instead of going a little casual would probably have

done me better, have had a long break from the game now, just started playing again and i really miss the fun and the discussions going on in guild

chat,id never thought i leave this guild and i admit it was the worst mistake ive ever done in my WOW gaming time,as you all know i joined a guild

on outland and sure it was exciting downing new bosses, but i kinda had lost all that the game was about for me,id never felt home in any guild as i

felt in the enigma order,i was missing the sociality the fun i had here,so a really bad choice ive made there, but as you all know people makes

mistakes thats what makes us humans,so im hoping for you guys can forgive me for my idiotic decision to leave,if i get in i would like to point out

im not playing 24/7 anymore trying to have a little thing called social life going on,Not that i dont play much but friends/gf is pretty important for

me too,and i fully understand if i dont get to rejoin enigma, but under any circumstances my char is coming back too stormreaver,so this is my

application to the best guild on stormreaver.

Best Regards Wolfman

Re: Wolfman

lets see.. we crafted a TF for you, you lied to me about your feelings for TEO, and you left us when we needed warriors and old guildmembers the most. i have three questions:

- why can we trust you now?
- what can you do for TEO?
- what did you think would happen when you migrated?

and yes, as rageo pointed out, your application is hard to read. we do have a form for applications.

Re: Wolfman

I never liked the way Wolfie left us without even saying goodbye, but I think that people make some mistakes and if he realised that transferring was one of them, and says "I'm sorry" now, then why shouldnt we let him in. We're not Ginnunga with its "once a leaver always a leaver" attitude, are we?
At least I always had fun playing with him. Let him rejoin us, IMO.

Re: Wolfman

Yeah, all us officer were very dissapointed with wolfman when he went from saying he'd never leave enigma, to just leaving without a word in 1 day. However, I believe some people deserve a second chance. We all do mistakes, don't doubt that in a second, and it takes some balls to come here and admit it to the entire guild.

I'm not 100% sure if I'll vote yes for you to rejoin yet, but as I said, I believe some people deserve second chances.

maybe this is the right place to say how much i appreciate all those who still is in the guild, who were loyal trough all our difficult periods, stuck with your friends instead of epics, making TEO just the big and old guild we are.

Re: Wolfman

You can call me harsh (tbh you all know i am) and i'm sorry for wolfman but i dont think we should let him in after the way he left the guild. It was a punch in the face when some core people were leaving TEO and we though that he was the last person to leave us. He didnt even say goodbye, nor explained himself... just looted some epics and transferred. What is to keep him doing that again after he gets bored with us and wants to try something new again? Sorry Wolfman but the way you "betrayed" TEO is not acceptable in my opinion and you dont have my vote to get back in.

Re: Wolfman

Wise words Enimusha, even though I'm not up to date on everything I'll give my honest opinion on this matter.

Wolfman was one of the oldest members of TEO, am I right?

You rooted for him to acquire TF?

It's a matter of trust, and Wolfman broke that trust that had been given to him through rooting him to get Thunderfury.

He is indeed a sheep astray from his flock, but he has repented his wrongdoings, and I believe he should be given the chance of rejoining
TEO.

(of course I have no real power in this, and by saying you, I mean TEO as a whole/officers)

Re: Wolfman

i also think we should give him a second chance, he left us in a fucked up way but everyone makes mistakes and as one of our older members i think we should give him that chance.

Re: Wolfman

i have known about you migrating back for some time, and we have spoken briefly when you logged on with your alt, so I was waiting for this app. It also means that i have had time to think about what i wanted to do when the time came.

Let me just say that I was a bit shocked about the way you left. Shocked and a bit sad tbh, because i had expected more from you. The crafting of TF showed how much the guild as a whole cared about you and you migrated, for no good reason at all. Imo. The TF thing is not about the item, and not about the other epixx, i dont care, nor mean that epix are in any way the reason you should stay or leave. But the comitment to you as a player is sometimes shown in these matters.
I think you should have talked to us, not raided, whatever, instead of leaving the guild in that way.

That being said, I would also like to see you back in the enigma tabard, and agree with Apox that some ppl should get a second chance. Wolfman is one of them.

Re: Wolfman

I think your dedication to the guild prior to leaving makes you deserve a second chance, Wolfman. I have also always considered the TF a fair payment for all those hours you invested in TEO before you left (still on 4th place in total dkp earned) - and I believe you earned it and still do, despite the circumstances about your leaving etc.

In short, my vote is on inviting.

Earlier that day he had written this:

Be aware, I couldnt give a rats ass about conqueror spaulders, but I can not have that illoyal and lying people in the guild.

Re: Wolfman

I barely ever spoke wolfie at all but it's in a humans nature to sometimes mess up, the good part about it is that we allways learn from our mistakes.
Please drop all the "oh he lewted TF" bogus... or your just as narrowminded as you claim those "omgwtf epix" people are. It's only loot, special loot but loot.
I actually find it flattering that he gave up his guild which had more bosses down than us in naxx (afaik, not sure), I find it flattering that he is willing to migrate back to stormreaver, put TF back to use where it belongs, here in TEO.
I personally think you should look at it in a different way, in his topic here he discribed us as his friends so I'd consider it to be a good gesture that he's wanting to be with his friends again and in my oppinion, friends work better together than any party/raid that can be organised. (though there was that BRD run last week with those guys that didn't know where to go, readychecks fo each pack of 3 mobs... take my advise and never join instance groups with a group of RL friends on horde side)

Instead of making it look bad again as most people generally do here perhaps look at the good sides, not everythings comparable to some disaster or massive terrorist attack.

Wolfie, if I had rights in this guild, you'd have my vote but it's up to them decide in the end.
Good luck.

Re: Wolfman

understand this, baloth and everyone else, that i defended wolfman back in the day. someone feared he would leave, but i told them (based on what he had told me) that he would never leave us, he would rather quit the game than leave TEO.

Re: Wolfman

Wolfman left during my first month in TEO, so i didn't got to know him well, nor what he meant to the guild.
Nevertheless, I think it'd send the wrong signals to TEO members if he would be allowed to re-join after the way he acted.
And I do believe in second chances, of course I do. But as a core-member and just leave without a word, is just mental. Why wouldn't he do the same thing again, since no one even expected him to leave that time.

I don't want to sound all fucking mature, but some actions kinda require consequences.

Suggestion - Let him join TED and see where it goes from there...
