Golrock, Draenei Shaman

I'll do it the official way, since I got time now as I'm booting my main computer (apparently got a virus, have to restart it entirely, yay)

Name: Simo
Age: 16
Country: Finland
Occupation: Student
email: spkerkela (a) luukku.com
Activity level: High. Unreasonably so.

Character: Name is, ofcourse, Golrock. Draenei Male Shaman. (btw what's with the gender? tongue)
Still in powerlevel phase, lvl 60.
Spec decided to be either Elemental or Restoration

Gear: Leveling gear. Nuff said.

Guilds: Started out in a guild called Makkara Perunat (Sausage Potatoes in English... Don't ask..) with a couple of irl friends of mine back in 2005, and leveled slowly but steadily to approximately 30 in it. After that I left the disbanding guild to join Finnish Alliance, from which some of the longstanding Finns from TEO also originate from. Around 45 I joined The Soap Salesmen, from which I left to join the "followup guild from Finnish Alliance" at lvl 50. Can't even remember the name of that one, think I stayed for a week or so, untill one day I came online and heard everyone had left for either "Adamantica" or "The Enigma Order". So I asked around and got the name of the GM of TEO, Apox, and asked him (in plain Finnish too lol) wether I could join.
So I joined TEO as most of you (atleast I think most of you) know, and got basically all my raiding experience, gear and the lot. Had a great time, killing stuff like Onyxia (missed first kill damnit), Ragnaros (wasn't picked :'( ), and later Nefarian was beyond awesome. But it got way to tiring for me, also with some irl pressures added of which I won't speak of here. So I took the 2006 summer off, thinking I'd also quit WoW forever. Also tried to "make sure I couldn't come back", how naive. So, as you'd have it, I did end up coming back. You can imagine that I was rather hesitant to make a big "return" to TEO as you'd have it, because of the loldramatic delete, and the fact that I kinda lost my face after coming back. Nevertheless, I even restored the character, but gearless, there was no real enthusiasm to play him again.
So I continued what used to be my alt, lvl 53 Tauren Shaman named Golrock. Got him to 60, and joined some ZG wiping guild I can't for the hell of me remember the name of. Stayed there all the way to 70, when I then joined a guild preparing to start Karazhan. I grouped myself rather decent heal equip, specced restoration and started healing, and even got to see that bigass chick, Maiden smthn. To top it off, I leveled a Blood Elf Hunter to 60, with the intention of 70, to farm for the resto Shammy. But then the first Kara guild crashed and burned, and turned into another one, as it merged with another guild. This one didn't even drop Moroes, and frustration finally destroyed this guild too.
Which leads me back to another reroll, or "backroll with a twist". I rolled another alliance toon, one to be my future main, this one, and my goal was clear: to restore my playing to the level it was before, with the familiar names from TEO.

Game:
Played: Warrior has about 76d, the cow has 30, 20 at 60+. I mentioned before that my draenei had about 2,5d. Exact times are not possible, as the computer I have WoW installed on is probably going to have to get fixed.
Raiding experience: Raided from Lucifron to Twins in TEO, and then 2 bosses in Kara with the guild I can't remember the name of (It was long and had Latin words lol).
Ambitions: Back to hardcore raiding! Kill new bosses, conquer new encounters, and the lot. I miss the thrill we had when clearing BWL for example. (AQ sucked imo).
Previous gaming experience: I played WC3 and Frozen Throne, and a gazillion other games before WoW, but WoW was my first MMO.
Computer: It's black and shiny and shiz. Except that it ain't shiny. But it's definately black. Must be pr0. But someone broke into it and it has to be fixed, and I hope to get that done ASAP. Tech info I can't remember, but it runs WoW smoothly with max settings in a raid situation.

There you have it. An application, as I do not expect a free spot after the stunts I've done.

Golly

lol. jyvas kylan pallo kerho.

On topic:

I'm hesitant to believe that you wont get bored or frustrated with your character after a while and do something we've seen you do before. Anyway, if you can level up to 70 without deleting or migrating or rerolling, maybe there is hope that you will also want to stay with us a little while. The decision is up to Boltan ofcourse.

Good luck Golly.

Re: Golrock, Draenei Shaman

My goal of 50 for the weekend seems to have pummeled by a broken videocard. But I'll be up and leveling in a matter of days. Sadly this laptop is not capable of anything but browsing the web. Guess I'll do some reading and TV-watching in the meanwhile.

smile I too would love to see you back, but as it is, the decision has been (after some discussion) exactly as Eni said. I know you enjoyed your cow shaman alot and went to endgame with it. I also see only determination in the current leveling. ^^ But the line is here. Get 70 in altguild and I believe we could arrange you a spot amongst us. (we are indeed still missing one shaman from the 'optimal' amount for 25-man raiding and I would prefer that to be you)

/shamans and /enigma still want your discussion. tongue no matter if TEO or TED

Re: Golrock, Draenei Shaman

Save a me spot then, I'm getting the computer back tomorrow, but I'll be out for the night. Weekend I intend to get as close to 50 as possible. The original goal was 50 this weekend, and 60 the next. The reason I asked this early was that, well, you can imagine leveling a character for a guild and then hearing "sry we're full lol". And to ppl wondering "who the F is this poser?", well... I hope you'll know sooner than later.

Edit: typo
