Say goodbye for your MS debugg says Kalgan??

Seems Kalgan couldn't make his mind and decided to remove Flametongue change..

atleast acording to mmo-champion..

http://www.mmo-champion.com/

I hope it's only changed for the time that they could fix the apparent bug there was. However, i guess there's some nice flame rising on official forums soon wink

Flame? FLAME?! jesus this was so ridiculous we should be thankfull for this. What kind of a way to buff pvp is this, buff it by nerfing it? What were they thinking!

I'm glad if they remove the FT healing debuff... It's not what shamans need, and a horribly easy way out for developers.
Besides, from a healers point of view, the last thing this game needs is more stuff that makes healing harder. (in PvP that is)

Tbh I think PvP healing is pretty balanced. It can win a game (the ability to get to full health in mid battle), and it can lose a game (lack of dps to kill an opponent). But I agree on the debuff being a easy way to balance shamans.

Imo there's too much dispelling in the game, dispelling important stuff like bloodlust/heroism, PoM or combustion or that stuff is usefull but dispelling earth shield is just too much, it's like having no survivability at all. Blizz allready said they would implement a (talent?) that increases the chance to resist a purge/dispell by 30%. This would be very much needed.

Another way to bring up enhancement shamans overall dps in raids I would say change Rockbiter weapon. Change it so it gives 1200 AP bonus when hitting with that weapon and lock that enhancement to off-hand weapons/make it so if you used it on a weapon you can only put it in your off-hand. (edit: and on two handers perhaps)
Not only would this rule out the need for a +dmg offhand talent this would also remove SUCKY windfury crits that put your MH windfury on cooldown.
Discuss?

I didn't think enhancement shamans needed a PvE boost.

I agree with beardstorm. I don't think shamans need a pve boost whatever spec they are. But in PvP (or arenas, as people tend to call pvp these days) it's a different story.

Re: Say goodbye for your MS debugg says Kalgan??

they need an improvement on both sides imo and who said I was calling it a specific pvp/pve upgrade? it would be a general upgrade imo

Re: Say goodbye for your MS debugg says Kalgan??

Well the problem with WoW is that PvP can't be balanced with PvE, thats why Blizzard have resorted to giving all the classes "Mortal Strike" instead of just flat out buffing/nerfing damage. They did that with warlocks and now we only have one raid spec (0/21/40) after affliction got nerfed thanks to PvP whine, which is just gay.

I really think the PvE side of the game is really working ok overall, hybrid dps of each class can pretty much hold it's own, it's just choosing the right gear to make it work. PvP "balance" mentioned above is in real danger of fucking up PvE balance (which is really more important, since WoW isn't a PvP game) and if they really want to push the e-sport angle like they seem to want to, i think they should make a seperate rule set, then they avoid doing things like nerfing lifetap and creating huge shitstorms with the raiding community.

And now they even buff mass dispel.
It's kinda sad to see this game being more and more based around PvP after arenas arrived, since it started out mainly as a PvE game, and for me, PvE is the main part of this game.

Re: Say goodbye for your MS debugg says Kalgan??

I like it.. this game needed more PvP seeing as we've had MILLIONS of PvE additions since the start of WoW. But it's getting close to over the top now yes.

Re: Say goodbye for your MS debugg says Kalgan??

Yes, the game probably needed more pvp, and it's fine, but they're starting to base too much purely around arenas these days.
