The Enigma Order

I re-gemmed my Helm today and got Thundering Skyfire Diamond instead of Relentless Earthstorm Diamond.
The gem gives 240haste rating for 6seconds. 240 haste is roughly 15% speed increase.
In theory I'd say the gem would be better than 12agi and 3% bonus to crit damage. But with a ppm of ~.6 I don't really know.

I've gone through todays raids wws log, and the proc rate seems to be around:

195minutes "raid"   41% dps time   44 procs
44 procs / 78min dps time = 0.56 ppm

(The gem also have a 30sec internal cooldown I believe I've read somewhere.)


12agi gives 0.3% crit and 12 AP. 12 AP is roughly 1dps.
I'm not quite sure about the crit damage bonus formula.
So I don't really know how well it will scale with gear. (for BM atleast)

So the deal is, 15% increased attackspeed for 6seconds every 2minutes, or 12agi+3% critdamage bonus (constant).
