The idea of the application system is an attempt to weed out people that are mildly retarded with us being on the internet and all. Things like grammar and whole sentences really count for a fair bit given that it only takes about five extra minutes. You could be the best player in the world but if you can't be arsed to string together a sentence then you have sorely missed the point of the guild.
edit: Don't take this as some kind of personal attack.

Prolly u missed the sarcasm in my posts.

We want to know about about you
We can see your gear, but that only tells us something about your character. We are inviting the person that controls the character. Are you a good guy? Why do you want to join this guild and not other guilds? Are you helpful, easy to get along with? Are you easely angered, what do you think of your own gameplay? Etc etc.. Any information is better than no information.
The question I look at as most important is "Ambitions within a guild" by far. Gear can be obtained, skills can be learned, but good helpful friends can be harder to find.

Really cant explain what are my ambitions within a guild, cause i really dislike have some expectations. What im looking for is a group of ppl who have fun together and who wanna try to play endgame istance without ruin their RL.
If u want to know more about me just ask it in this post or /w me in game, ill be glad to answer ur questions.

I will state that this is the first time Merobo ever made an application, if that would be somewhat of a "heads up". Nevertheless I think you guys kinda had a bad start, so I'll share my point of view on Merobo;
Merobo is 35 year old man(man yes, hes very much a man:p), He is extremly active, always cheerfull, and he's always up for new and different tasks, though he's often skeptical to new stuff. If we want a Protadin, I'd say Merobo is the guy, he's by far one of the nicest guys on stormreaver that I know of. Skill wise I think I've already stated that he's prolly the best protadin I've seen, but no harm in restatements:p
I guess this is up to the officers. I reallyreally hope you'll give him a chance, and I really think he's worth every darn penny. GL!

Seeing as I might be the one who actually convinced Merobo to write an application, I guess it's fair for me to say a word or two.
This here little paladin has /played time longer than any single character in TEO. Easily 2nd next to Milano on SR. We hooked up back when UBRS was the thing and run it 100+ times together. Those two factors stand for the 'knows his class' part.
Good player, good listener, helpful person you can have a nice chat with. Doesn't get angry easily.
Last but not least - obviously reluctant when it comes to writing long essays in application forum. So, yes there have been more impressive applications. No, there hasn't been more impressive paladin applying to TEO in TBC (though maybe some were on pair, no harm meant).
Never been more convinced, that someone deserved my vote.

Ooh.
Lucky you TEO. Merobo is by far one of the nicest persons on stormreaver, I chit chat here and there with him. Has done that since I was a little 46 rogue or something.
HAI Merobo.
You will like TEO. Theres a lot of nice ppl there.
