It was Mannoroth who "killed" Grom Hellscream. Mannoroth was a part of the invasion,
and i think he was southeast in Ashenvale forest when he got oneshoted by Hellscream.
Magtheridon was the leader in Outland before Illidan took charge,
and lives today so we can kill him.

You can go yourself to southeast Ashenvale where all the demons are behind the horde (orc) lumber camp south of the Azshara entrance. There you can find the supposed place where Mannoroth met his fate. If I recall correctly there is a stone / statue erected in honor of hellscream and you can also find some mark that Mannoroth left behind or something like that. Go check it out. one of those places "to see" in wow

=> I found the place during some horde ashenvale leveling quests if I recall correctly. Afterall the defeat of Mannoroth (and death of Hellscream) marked once again getting free of the demon rage that the orcs had been inflicted with. So not that minor a thing for horde

btw. the reason I like nightelves best is that they are "clean", dwarves too... they are not evil minded or corrupted or anything like humans/orcs/trolls/gnomes/undead... if I was to choose horde I'd be a tauren for the same reason, they are "Clean" too, hence no mages and warlocks evil classes I tell you, evil as hell (Harry Potter is a lie ). The only arcane usage made by NE are druids and only powerhungry dudes like Illidan turn evil:P

but I have to admit, the coolest race in WoW are The Trolls, with the imba Jamican accent and wardance. the main reason I chose to play Ally was cause I had friends here that played ally. Then I played it so long, I didn't know how to play horde and I never bothered to learn (the quests and such).

Lurking some and read obscures post about tyrande being a fool to let illy out etc:p To be fair, Illidan was more of a hero than any other of the characters in wc3 campaigns, he was also fighting the burning legion from the inside. He did it in his way ofc, which none really understood, but he was good atleast. What corrupted him was not the hunger for magic, but more the disstrust he got from his brother and all the others. It is as he says. "betrayer... betrayer they call me... but in fact it was I who was betrayed" or something:p Play the campaign guyze LOL, its damn awesome!
