How is everyone approaching the leveling of 70-80 in wotlk, ie, anyone taking time off to get to 80 asap? anyone just relax lvling?
Would there be a time limit set for when we start raiding etc?
Just curious

I, for one will take my time leveling. I want to explore and discover stuff in my own time..rather than follow a guide and end up being 80 and bored. Will level my shaman first..then probably gonna fix me up with a deathknight and eventually gonna level the warlock. Will probably spec enhancement for the duration..although I will respec resto for 5-man I suppose, but will cross that bridge when I reach it

We will start raiding, when people have hit 80, and are getting ready to start raiding.
There should be plenty of time to enjoy the lvling process and to see all the new stuff

I'm going to take one - two days out of school and play 24 hours / day if possible.. Well atleast if my upcoming study schedule allows it I will try to take everything as experience during leveling though

Have pre-ordered wotlk, and think i have like a week or so between the release until my exams start, so guess it will be some heavy leveling this week^^ Want to get to 80 asap;)

Knowing my schedule I might even manage to ding 71 before majority of the guild is 80!
I'm cool with that though, developing the character is the best part of the game, way more interesting than running a 5h long instance to kill 1 boss with 10% drop chance for that one last upgrade.
Also, I'll try to level mostly via doing instances to the extent my ptience allows.

I''m going to Germany for about 10 days the day after the expansion comes out, so I wont be a part of the fun the first weeks this time around I'm afraid. But on the other hand, when I get back all the low-level areas probably won't be that full of people levelling, so there's more room for me enjoying it

i remember how hard it was lvling in outlands as soon as tbc came out, utter gankage, dont wanna go through that again, so looking for a few ppl to lvl with, strength in numbers n all that.

Instances, instances, instances. By means of testing and making life easier it might be an idea to use in-game GC even to organize 5 man leveling-instances. Would be nice to come online at 22.55 and have a full and ready group at 23.

I will first lvl my lock as it has allways been my main, even though i raided as pala, casters are just my types of classes. 2nd i'll lvl my pala doing alot of instances i assume, dunno if i'll respecc prot yet, put with holy i'll definetly stick to the instances. As a third i think i will have a DK looming around if i can spare enough time, but i doubt that for a while. My warrior will be on hold, even though i don't think you care
Off topic:
Even though i've been some online with my lock i haven't made much noise, i'm in the army after all, enough of that around for me. I haven't spoken much about me here, and i can tell you that i'm a military engineering soldier, dealing with mines and explosives in addition to be a light armored infantry soldier (normal infantry is ofc nonarmored ). The right name is Stormengineer (like stormtrooper) from the Armored Engineering Corps. If a wow server will ever blow up it isn't me, but PEW PEW.
Edit: Some more off topic
How are the healers doing at the time? Got enough? And Merobo, has our masterplan been set out in action?

I'm wondering - when installing the expansion, the account needs to be updated to this expansion status. Anyone knows how does the release date look like from server perspective? I mean - does Blizz push some magic butting at 0:01 13 Nob 08 and the servers accept the updated accounts from thereon? Or if someone would manage to get a final version on 12 Nov he'd be able to enjoy some Northrend right away?
Just being curious as to how it works from technical perspective.
