Extended maintenance?

So, does the news window on login screen welcome us with information about extended maintenance?
Alternatively - any other trustworthy source of information that would confirm patch 3.0 is out tomorrow?

It is now officialy confirmed on the european server alert "This Wednesday there will be an extended maintenance to apply patch 3.0.2. Please note that all European realms will be offline from 02:00 until 14:00, Paris time (CEST).". As a reminder the downtime for US servers will begin at 2:00 AM PDT and end at approximately 2:00 PM PDT.

wasn't really sure, but are they reseting honour with this patch? I was going to try and farm some honour tonight to see if i can get the mainhand dagger to try mutilate but that would be pointless if it just got reset big_smile

also are they reseting arena points for wotlk? couldnt really find the info when i looked but i assume they will or use different arena points for level 80's?

arena points will reset when you ding 71 (I think)

honor points wont reset.

yikes so they added that on retail already.. thought it was going to be only when Wrath came.. ah well.. tongue better sooner than later I guess! (been enjoying the login screen on beta for some time now <3)

Blizzard downloader was downloading this patch for me some time ago.. however it started at 0% again now -_- Gief wow back nau plix!
