Chat help !!!
Hey,
I cant read anything Guild chat , party chat anything like that i can only read when people uses /S and read the text above the head.
I Tried making new chat enabling everything possible on the settings, tried reseting the chat settings, also tried to contact GM but couldent read his whispers and then i got that thing to fill out survery or what its called.
Anybody have any tips for help? This happened when i enabled the addons i was using but the funny thing is i dont use any chat addons.
Also type all comments here for help as i said i cant read chat on wow and i was not hacked =p

I don't think Prat filters the chat. It only formats it. I might remember wrong thoug.
Instead righ-click the Chat window title tab (General) and select "Settings". Here you can select the channels you would like to listen too in that spesific chat window. If you have room I recommend creating a new chat window and directing only guild, party, raid etc to that window. Then you can have one window for spam like General and Trade and one for more sensible chat.
Edit: Sorry I have learn2read issues.
Go to social settings under interface options and select Simple chat (or something) Or is that what you have tried as well? I think that option resets all cchat options. You should probably activate one addon at the time to determine which one it is that does this change.

Had the same issue, was add-on related. I'd start with disableing all add-ons and if that doesn't help - deleting the WTF folder (having done a copy first).
Zteep had the same issue as well, if you catch him online orso.

I had the same issue, if Mox havnt helped you already, I disabled a add-on called 12 Hour-timestamp, and then it worked fine. Not sure that this is a popular add-on, since Prat is much better.
