Spooney, Human Paladin (X-realm)

Character’s name: Spooney, human Paladin
Current Realm:     The Venture Co (X-realm)
Played time:         222 days
Professions:          JC and Enchanting
Armory:               http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet … ;n=Spooney
UI:                       http://img31.imageshack.us/img31/159/ui1psj.jpg

A bit about my character:
I’ve been playing on Spooney for five years now, always as ret apart from a
brief stint in the launch of TBC when I went protection for ten minutes. In Wrath I intent to raid as ret as
I am still in love with it, despite seeing everyone else jump on the ret bandwagon.

My spec/gear/enchants:
As you can see from Armory, my current spec is 5/9/57, I have chosen 5 points in Seals of the Pure as
PVE fights nowadays will use SoV than SoC, though I know that is somewhat being debated at the moment
and will keep checking that is the case. I feel the rest of my points are quite self explanatory as I have used
a common cookie cutter spec. However, I am well aware that some guilds will need full usage from their
paladins and could go deeper into the protection tree for divine sacrifice if needed and the holy paladins do
not take it, although in my opinion it would gimp performance a little.

For my glyphs I have not yet decided to take the consecration one which lengthens the CD as I need to
practise my rotations with all the changes made and see how it fits in, otherwise I am satisfied with my
glyph choices (+10 expertise on SoV as well as extra damage on judgements and exorcism). If I were to
take the cons then I‘d swap out the exorcism glyph as the added cast time implemented is now “meh”.
My gear is good at the moment although I need a few small upgrades to maximise my performance.

Past Guilds and Raiding experience:
I only played as a casual until Wrath and stayed in guilds where all my friends were - I can‘t remember
what they were called now as it was years ago. However, for a year and I half I have been in
Twilight Empire (server number one until recently). Unfortunately a lot got bored of WoW/had jobs/
went to the army/starting school again this summer so everyone quit at the same time which obviously
left the guild lacking 20 or so core raiders which is why I am moving on!

Before that happened we were raiding 5 nights a week, cleared a lot of hardmodes in Ulduar apart from
(off the top of my head) Vezax, Miri, Freya, Yogg and of course Alagon. I did not participate in the 10man
runs as they were optional and I was busy with university at the time, but of course would love to try it now.

Attitude:
From being a raider this last year, doing 5 nights a week,  I am fully prepared to come stocked
up on consumables, I can take constructive criticism and suggestions and will not whine when we wipe.
I’m living in Sweden so my connection is awesome, and my computer can run WoW fine without fps lag
and I don’t live with my parents who can kick me off the computer at 9pm on a school night, so I am free
to raid whenever.

I want to join because I am looking for a guild that has a friendly atmosphere and I can enjoy end-game
content minus the breakneck speed, so I can actually enjoy smashing buttons and beating pixels up. I will
be active on WoW and participate in the guild, instead of just logging on for raids and logging off and an not
afraid to speak on vent when needed.

I'd be more than happy to answer any questions you may have on vent or ingame if you have any.

A few friends are moving back to their home which is Stormreaver (Estaria and Ithilias) and recommended you guys to me because the guild seemed to match what I was looking for in WoW.

Would it be possible to get a guesstimate to when your paladin officer is back from holidays? I need to keep my friends updated as they are waiting on me. Thanks <3

Re: Spooney, Human Paladin (X-realm)

Hello Spooney!

I'm sorry it's been taken so long with my answer. After going through our paladin situation i have decided that currently we are pretty much filled what comes to our paladins. There might be some changes coming during next month that might oppen more spots for paladins to get recruited. However, until i see what we need i have decided to not offer you spot this time. I wish you best in guild hunting and once again sorry for keep you waiting.
