currently my offspec is a frost tanking spec that i havent tried out yet.

My WoW history.
I started playing on stormreaver when the original WoW was released.
I played as a priest(Kairgan) in adamantica during Onyxia and Molten core,
and rerolled warlock(Maligan) at the release of BWL when adamantica reformed as No Regrets.
When No Regrets disbanded close to the end of AQ i joined The Core Crew on my warlock
and raided with them through to naxxramas and KT until TBC was released.
TCC disbanded early in TBC and Ijoined Ram for SSC TK Hyjal and much of BT.
I had a short break from WoW and rolled a DK(Korpus) for the WotLK expansion,
and rejoined Ram a while before Ulduar was released and cleared naxx EoE and OS 3up.
Raided through Ulduar and TotC with ram until Ram disbanded shortly before ICC was released.

Raid experience.
basically everything except the last bosses of BT and the entire sunwell plateu.

I have a steady net connection and a up-to-date Gaming PC with ventrilo+teamspeak.
I will usually stay silent on ventrilo unless i see something that can wipe the raid.
and i have all the usual raiding addons for threat+warnings.
The only problems i have had the last year are during server crashes and server/instance lag.

Why i want to join TEO
I have some Friends in TEO and I would really like to beat up that slackadin Arthas.

Some of the people in TEO that knows what kinda guy i am.
Mox, Thorak, Apocalypse, Caprii, Qurrai.

Some people in TEO that might not like me.
Miink(its been a while)

what i will contribute
I will bring decent dps with focus and deterrence to raid and progress.
I have the time and focus to raid nonstop during raidtimes.
I have close to 100% raid attendance in my previous guilds.

If u want to reach me ingame I might be on an alt.
/who conquest and you'll find me.

Hello and thanks for your application. It is most impressive.

You seem to have more than good enough gear for raiding with us. Your experience is respectable aswell. I still have couple of questions.

How is your tanking gear? I see you have frost tanking spec in armory. Why did you choose frost? Be specific please.

Also, in your dps spec you chose not to go full on ravenous dead. What do you figure is the reasoning behind that?

Hey.

My tanking gear is abit out of date but still useable. It consists mostly of ulduar loot and some recently ilvl232 from emblems.
The reason its outdated is because when DK tanks got nerfed at the end of ulduar sometime,
I felt the DK tank lost its special niche ability that no other tanks could match.
Extremely high hp and short cooldowns on IBF, AMS and VB with a high 1-2 target threat.
So after the nerf i passed all tank gear to better suited classes.

The reason i chose frost for my offspec is simply i heard a friend of mine who played it,
found it very good for picking up adds and holding aoe threat.
So I thought I'd give it a try in a few 5man instances and i didnt really like it at all.
personally i still prefer blood for tanking though high numbers of adds can be really tricky to pick up.
So this frost offspec is most likely going out the window next time i need an offspec for something.

As for the choice of 2/3 ravenous dead it is just a choice between 20%/30% proc on bloodcaked blade,
compared to +2%/+3% total strength. For unholy spec i would definately go for 3/3ravenous dead,
but for blood i think the bloodcaked blade is a little better.

I am flexible on the spec and willing to respec if there is a better alternative that works better for the raids.
