Lenrir, Blood/Frost Tank Human Death Knight

First things first, your anti-bot system had me fuzzled for a few tries. Was funny confusing G with 6!
Anyway on with the app!

Name: Maurice Nyman
Age: 20
Job: Accountant Oo
Little about me: Well I live in Jolly old London in England. As mentioned above I am an accountant and my past-times includes gymwork and Martial arts. I live with my parents thanks to houses being way too expensive but I am still studying for my AAT, so it kinda works for me. I also have been diagnosed with Aspergers syndrome so I am prone to taking things too seriously and believing too quickly, though I am doing my best to try and 'beat' this problem.

Character:

ArmoryLink: http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet … th+Royalty
Going into detail about this. It currently shows me in my 'frost' build. The only difference when I am 'blood' is I use Bryntroll as my Mainhand which has 2 30+ stamina gems and the corpse ring trinket is replaced with the corroded skeleton key. Links to the following items are below:

Bryntroll: http://eu.wowarmory.com/item-info.xml?i=50415
Corroded Skeleton Key: http://eu.wowarmory.com/item-info.xml?i=50356

The reason I have two builds is because frost has a few more 'tricks' when it comes to Aoe tanking, which is basically the norm when 'heroic' rushing or dealing with trash in ICC. So as a person who has ZERO interest in dps, I have decided to have two tanking specs for both situations. I will admit I have tanked AoE as blood but as a person who has been using frost since December 2008, it is really difficult to make the 'change', though I will admit I am getting the 'feel' of AoE tanking as blood.

Now the gemming. I used to go for avoidance since avoidance tanking was viable, at least for me, in ToC. I have now gone stamina since I just changed to blood after ICC was released and the 'chill of the throne' kinda killed my avoidance tanking as a frost. Dual-wield is still viable, I can generate around 8k TPS with it since the off-hand procs constantly with Threat of tharassian talent, but once I got the Bryntroll (first item from ICC!) From Lord Marrowgar, it kinda changed and thus I went towards blood.

Rotation: My general rotation is a variable since it really depends on the 'situation'. However this is what it is normally.

Single-target damage as Blood: Icy touch(10), plague strike(20), Heart Strikex2(40), Death Strike(55), Rune Tap(65), Pestilence(75), DeathStrikex2(100), Hysteria(100), 2xDeath coil (20), Pestilence(30), 2x Death Strike(60), Heart Strike(70), Empower rune weapon(95). That isn't a fixed rotation, since it depends on the fight encounter such as reflect damage (last boss FoS), sudden damage spikes(festergut and his inhales) and so forth. Generally I wish to keep above 25 runic power as explained below in my glyph explanation.

For AoE as blood, it basically icy touch, pestilence then DnD, following by that particular rotation.
Frost is almost the same, just instead of death strike and heart strike it's howling blast and obliterate bashing, with frost strike rune dump XD.

Glyphs: Hopefully they are self explanatory. Glyph of disease is my key one, as it keeps diseases up on the main target without wasting my valuable frost and unholy rune and therefore allows me to either use death strike as blood or obliterate as frost. It basically allows me to keep my runes up as much as possible, as one would say. Glyph of death strike is the primary reason why I always keep 25 runic power, plus death coil isn't really special in any shape or form. Glyph of rune strike in frost may be the weakest glyph, since rune strike is only gained through a proc and a proc means chance, which is almost tempting me to change it for glyph of obliterate, a far more 'reliable' ability.

Gear in general: most of it is ToC with some pieces of ToC 25 and ToGC 10. Mainly aiming for improvements in both ICC 10 and 25 as most of the gear replacements is avaliable there. Other than that, I don't really have that many gripes with my gear Oo.

Guild: I was previously in Recognition, which exploded because of the abuse being thrown around by people, which basically led to a split. I decided to leave wow for a bit before joining, before ICC, with Azeroth Royalty. I currently hold the position of 'raid leader' and I basically run all the guild runs with my fellow 'partner-in-crime' Uncleshorts. However I am becomming disllusioned and un-content as the guild leader, Toherix, constantly undermines me by asking me to bring people simple because 'they been waiting to raid.' Even though I explain they lack the gear to come with us, he overrules me, making group making incredibly frustrating and uneedlessly difficult.

Fair to say, I am noticing a growing 'elitism' amongst the people and I have a feeling it is going to explode, possibly splitting the group apart. Already talks are underaway where some guild members are thinking of making thier own 'elite' 10 man group! So I thought this would be the best time to maybe leave, since my discontent is increasing ever more as I am constantly looked upon for advice on classes I have not even played!

Raid experiance: As a person who has been playing beta, I have been to all the MC, BWL and AQ raids but sadly never got to try Naxxramas. My TBC experiance was fairly limited, as I had GCSES and A-levels to attend to, however I was able to accomplish Karazhan, SSC and BT. My WotLK experiance is extensive however, compared to my lax TBC. I have compiled a list detaling what is killed and what not:

Naxx - Cleared on 10/25 man.
Malygos- 10 man only sad
Ulduar - 10 man is fully cleared except Mr.Agalon. 25 man experiance was limited as the situation with Recognition appeared during our progress.
ToTC - 10 man fully cleared, hard mode wise still need to kill Anub sadly. 25 man I still need bloody Anub QQ.
ICC- Both 10 and 25 man has lower spire cleared. Tried the new bosses but havn't downed them at all.

Joining the guild:

Why I wish to join: Simple really. You are the only guild I know of which raids on TUESDAYS and THURSDAYS. That alone, makes me a very happy person. My work is strict, I literally can not raid on Monday and Wednesdays, which is a 'main' raid day for a lot of guilds out there. You special people however, are an exception, and this makes me smile a lot!

While that is one of the main reasons, another reason is simply because of my position in Azeroth Royalty. Being 2nd to the Gm's is nice, I really can't complain. But the huge responsibility of managing virtually everything with raiding while being hampered by 'objections' by the GM is making it a hugely unfun position to be in. To be honest I just want to raid, do my time, contribute to the guild and have fun. Having e-mails and messages about 'situations' in the guild which ranges from 'arguments' to 'why am I not raiding' is frustrating as I have to work and go college.

Sure I don't mind helping, but when you see the other officers and guild master sitting there twiddling thier thumbs, it leads to a huge amount of doubt in my mind.
I hope you can understand my position from my point of view, if not then it is no problem and if you wish to know more, then I will comply.

What can I bring: Confirming to myself that I was going to make this guy a Tank, I have been tanking since December 2008 as a Death Knight. Enjoying the brokeness at the release to sucking up the inevitable nerfs which led to a more 'challenging' aspect. Nowadays, I have much to do by changing people's stigma about Death Knights. I think those in your guild who are Death knights, will understand the comment 'ZOMG DK, WE SCREWED, ALWAYS NOOB.' Recieved in Pugs on the LFG tool. There is always something nice when you hear the words 'first unretarded DK? Thats a first.'

As a tank, I bring a Hybrid. One who can deal with both AoE and single-target tanking. I understand that people may have second thoughts about people like me, but I trust you can understand that I only wish to tank. DPS has never interested me, though should I need to then I will.

Also, as a raid leader, I can provide advice and experiance should the need arise. I will admit I do enjoy the raid leading aspect and, if asked to, will happily lead one should the situation occur. I have been raiding for around 3 years and therefore have a good experiance in the 'business' XD.

I trust this is enough information. In regard to my machine, it can run WoW on full graphics and I have yet to have a d/c from the game, heck, it can run multiple games at the same time! Which I accidentally did with WoW and MW2!

I trust for a positive response to this application. Thanks for your time!

I'm still at work so i didn't have time to completely read your application through (i will do it later anyway), but we are totally packed with melee dps and tanks at the moment. We just recruited a new DK, so we are 4 DK's with almost all 100% activity. So even if you are the most superyber perfect DK canditate with gearscore of over nine thousand, we just can't fit you at the moment.

So keeping the previous in mind, i'll have to decline you at this time.

Understandable, to be honest I don't really want to leave Azeroth Royalty since the other GM (yeah we got 2) happens to be a good friend of mine. But I am finding my position more and more frustrating and vented it so, maybe they might 'wake up and smell the coffee' if I link them to this XD. I can't self-demote either, already been 'denied' that by Toherix and Yuir (the other GM), saying they need me to be officer Oo. Don't take this the wrong way though! I did want to join! I guess it just a bit of regret XD

For the records, WoWheroes gives me a gearscore of 2968 so, not TOO far off 9000. Also look at the bright side, just spent 3 hours doing envelopes. It's not good times. D:

Anyway, thanks for the taking the time to reply anyway.
