Hello fellow guildies
My Name is Anders, Aka Dancemonkey. I am 26 years old, and i live in Trondheim,Norway.
I have been a part of TEO for a few months now, as a non-raider and friend of Apox. You might have seen be throwing a LOL out in G-chat, dont know that many ppl here yet, so i dont burst out that much
Looking at the forums i saw that you were looking for a healing priest, and i thought i might apply, hoping to jump the ladder a step up to raider
Reason for this is that i have always found raiding natural for me in this game, even now i try to PuG every instance there is, but as you all now it might not be so successful at times.
I really miss having a stable raiding team to play with, and to achiev goals in this game with. Nothing beats the feeling of a guild-first kill
Been raiding since MC days, but this i will summ up in my experience part.
A little about myself as player; I always come prepared to raids, potions, flasks and feasts. I find this neccesary to contribute to the raiding group. I am fond of focus in raids, and i see TEO dont lack that, hence your progress. Focus in my head is to be prepared, knowing tactics, giving your best in every fight, and maybe the most important; paying attention to the raidleader and your assignments. I also like being serious in raids, but i do enjoy a good joke between fights, always good to keep the morale up
When it comes to critisism i can handle it well, specially if it is given in a proper way, not very fond of bad critisim, rather tell a person what he/she is doing wrong in a understandable way.
I like to see myself as a helpful player, dont mind helping/boosting alts, doing oldschool stuff with guildies in weekends, all the good stuff that makes you feel appriciated by others.
My Character:
Name: Dancemonkey (dont mock the name )
Class: Priest
Mainspec: Discipline
Offspecc: Shadow atm, changed few weeks ago to see how it worked, but as far as it goes this column is pretty open to whatever spec, and what the guild has use for. Seeing changes with the new expansion, i will use 2 healing speccs.
Gear: My gear today is mostly ICC, emblem and BOE's from ICC. As u can see on my armory sheet below i have gemmed with alot of SP and some int. This is for increasing the absorbed dmg on PWS, as well as healing, and the int for having a decent manapool in raids. (Open for questions, comments)
Armory link: http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet … ancemonkey
Professions: Here i have Mining and jewelcrafting, both at 450. Took it to gain access to the very nice gems you get as a JC. Also got 450 in fishing, cooking, and first aid.
Playstyle:
As it goes for my playstyle and rotations, i use X-perl raidframes with rangefinder to target players, and bound buttons on mostly used spells, and numbers on lesser used, but very neccesary ones. Atm i use original interface, always liked it As Discipline i use PWS, Flash, Penance, POM and Renew as my main spells, but i am not static on those, i use the spell i feel most fit for that situtation at hand.
I also put PI on casters, but here i think its important to choose one caster that can have a macro saying when he is rdy for it, so it doesnt crash with other of the casters CD's.
Experience in raiding:
In Vanilla and TBC i played on Dunemaul server as Hordie, both as Mage and Warrior. But when WOTLK came and guilds where torn apart, i moved to shadowsong to lvl a priest, didnt like it in the beginning, but lvling as healing rlly taught me alot. So at lvl 80 i got into a guild called Possum on alliance side, in which i raided until it was the bitter end for the guild. We were mostly a group of 10 who was the core in the guild, where we cleared both Ulduar and TOTC. The ICC experience i have is with Pugs, was the only way to get to see the place, study tactics and hope for a good group Below is a list of what i have cleared as raider, not as lvl 80 boosts.
Vanilla as mage :
MC-Cleared
BWL- Cleared
AQ20- Cleared
AQ40-2-3 bosses
TBC as Warrior tank:
KZ-Cleared
ZA-Cleared
Gruul and Mag-Cleared
SSC- Up to Vasj
TK- Solarian and Reaver
BT- 3 Bosses
WOTLK as Priest healer:
Naxx 10 and 25-Cleared
OS 10 and 25-Cleared
Malygos 10 and 25-Cleared
VoA- All present bosses on 10 and 25
Ulduar 10-Cleared
Ulduar 25- Up to Thorim i think, before guild disbanded.
TOTC 10 and 25-Cleared
TOGC 10- 4/5
TOGC 25- None
ICC 10- 10 out of 12, missing the 2 hard ones
ICC 25- 4 first ones.
Raiding Times
When i look at your raiding times i find them perfect, seems like good days for me to raid.
Also the length of the raid suits me well, and i dont mind staying for example 30 mins longer etc to get a few more tries on a boss
So i hope with this that you will give me a shot at a trial spot. I must say that even just staying here a few months have really made me like this guild. Seems like one of the better enviroments i've seen, guld chat is always fun to watch, even if it's jokes or discussions
From me you can expect focused raiding and attendance. With this i leave you know in hope of an positive answer
Regards
Anders/Dancemonkey

Accepted as testplayer.
The testperiod can extend 2-3 weeks depending on your activity and raid attendance. In this period you will be able to bid for items, but will have a lower priority than existing raiders. Make sure you read most of our rules and guidelines in the different forums. Rules related to our raids and DKP/Loot should be of particular interest now that you are a raider. Full access to the forum will be given by a moderator here and you can ask an officer for an intvite to the raids already in the calendar.
You are basically replacing a very active and good discipline priest that had about 80% raid attendance. We now hope you will be able to do about the same.
Good luck.
