there are a lot of beta players around tho, you will advance once you get the basics going.

Im in the diamond league.

countering cheese with cheese is usually not the way to go. The best way is to scout early and plan you defences, then just outeco them when you stop their attack.

Completed the single player campaign in normal difficulty and have now done the first missions on Brutal.
A very good and engaging story so far. Can't wait for the sequel.

I have played 5 or 6 matches now, mostly 2on2 co-op vs AI. Havent tried online yet. It is indeed awsome:) What do you guys normally play? Terran?

Playing random at the moment, got no preference and whatever race I lose to the same types of thing anyway.

*Fast tech, even though I scout it just cant get counter in place fast enough (HI MUTA / BANSHEES)
*4 gates all in
*really early barracks / spawning pool (or maybe I'm just late)

anyone got any replays they can share?
I just got the game, so im still pretty nubish.. havent dared to go multiplayer yet since im still trying to figure out what the best deal is vs the different opponents.

a question about campain: am i going to play zerg / protoss campains too? or is it only terran with that protoss artifact thingie?

Starcraft 2 is a trilogy, the first part is "Wings of Liberty", which is the terran part with like 3 maps where you play protoss. Next two parts are expansions. Zerg one: "Heart of the swarm", and last the protoss one: "Legacy of the void". Even though part 2 and 3 are expansions, Blizzard plan to have the same among of content as the first part.

If you want to learn the game, check out youtube users and commentators HDstarcraft and HuskyStarcraft.

http://www.livestream.com/trumpsc has some nice commentary of matches, mainly for Terran but they also talk about other races too sometimes. Useful learning unit combos / build orders etc.
