The Enigma Order

As it was mentioned, on Sunday evening we will hold a guild event. It's nice to do some socializing every once in a while and also the raiding part of the guild deserves a break from LK25hc. The event will be somewhat special, given the high value of the reward (that is the Reins of the Crimson Deathcharger - the Shadowmourne mount). All members of The Enigma Ordered are welcome to participate.

The objective of the contest will be to get a newly created toon to level 10 as fast as possible, commonly known as a leveling contest.

Few details since given the value of the reward I could imagine participant to be tempted to use some clever mechanics etc - the point of the below is to assure fair chances for everyone. Here's how the start will be organized:

Rewards:
First place - Reins of the Crimson Deathcharger
Second place - 5.000 gold
Third place - 1.000 gold

The rules:
The first 3 persons to reach level 10 get rewarded.
The winner gets the mount and he is meant to "use" - you are winning the mount for yourself, not in order to sell it.
Everyone is meant to use a new character with all the pros and cons involved - no heirloom items, no potions, elixirs, items besides the ones you get while leveling.
All alliance races, hence all starting areas, and all classes are allowed.
Until the actual leveling begins you are meant to create the contest toon and that's it - don't kill anything until the official start, don't duel, don't pick quests up. Log in, set your UI and wait.
No external help (boosting) is allowed - I'm pretty sure there will be enough of us participating to look at each others hands and make sure everything is fair and square.

The organization:
First step to join the event is signing up to an event via Guild Callendar, every member of the guild is able to do that.
Before the event starts, all particpants will join a raid group on their main characters.
Once every is in the raid, the server holding the event as well as the formula for naming contest-toons will be given.
Afterwards, all new toons will be invited to a guild on the chosen server and following rules will be given via guild chat.
