YES!
Volley is SO gone in Cataclysm. I could not care less if that will result in lower damage on aoe packs, I'm buying the developers reason for removal all the way and support it wholeheartedly.
One of better news in a while for me really.

Volley felt about as suitable for a hunter as Blizzard would for a rogue or Whirlwind for a priest.
It's gone and new Multishot seams to work more or less fine.
