Merteenus, Gnome Warlock - cancelled

Hello Enigma Order, I'm Scott, I am 22 and I'm from England. I recently transfered over from Boulderfist and met Ensiferrum while advertising myself in trade. He was very helpful and an all around good egg, which said a lot about the guild and thus even in the knowledge that you don't particularly need a warlock I am applying anyway.

Armory link : http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/s … nus/simple

Im fairly new to to wow but safe to say I'm addicted, I really do love it and even more so now i have discovered the joys of raiding this last month. I will be the first to admit my in-raid skill level needs work, I'm good, but far from perfect. However my stats are min-maxed to perfection and I can hit 15k dps on a raid dummy completely unbuffed. I raid with the destruction spec which i understand inside out and i have an affliction PvP off-spec which i rarely use.

I left Boulderfist for several reasons, firstly my raiding guild who introduced me to raiding, were in the end, found to be very childish, bitchy and were pretending BoEs were for their core members off-specs and alts and selling them for vast sums of gold. Even though i was the newbie i was still consistently the second best dps in the team (after my initial break in period of a few raids at least - during which i was awful of course big_smile ) Secondly the economy was pitiful. I couldn't sell epic cloth items from tailoring for 2/3 of the AH price for 5 days and i very rarely could find items i needed. Including ember cards to create my darkmoon card BiS trinket. Which i completed shortly after my transfer.

Another reason was the difficulty to pug BH. On my first night in Stormreaver (last night) I set up my own pug from scratch and led it to victory after only one wipe, even tho half the dps were under 10k. It was a proud moment.

Im not very technical with computers and connections, but I've never had problems unless the rest of the raid has as well (server problems)

When I joined my old guild they were 2/12 and I was present for every raid there after untill reaching 9/12 after a months raiding

If there's any room for me id really like to join you guys

Thanks for the application. Talk to you in game.

Do you bring any particular accent with high level of awesomeness and/or win factor? Do not, I say again, do not ignore this question, it might just turn out to be crucial.

My accent is a weak northern one, and my voice pretty dreary, but I CAN balance 3 tomatoes on top of my head !!

Re: Merteenus, Gnome Warlock - cancelled

Allright, having sorted the accent issue out, here's the deal - right now, not only isn't there a warlock spot opened in the raiding team, but there's someone waiting for one to open up. And admitedly that backup person has quite a bit more raiding experience than you, judging by the application.

However, given we're soakers for good players and have had a longlasting problem with warlocks for a while up until recently, we would be happy to get you onboard. What I can offer at this point is a social spot - I'm aware that this is not quite what you're after, however there's already some fairly regular 10 man raiding action going on, which is aimed at such players and alts of raiders. I'm hoping that this will become only moreintensive now that we're killing stuff more consistently.

Then again I can perfectly well understand if that does not satisfy you and you choose to seek your luck elsewhere - which should not be hard given there's never been many warlocks on Stormreaver and there are new ambitious guilds advertising on trade chat all over the place.

No rush with this, take the time you need to think about it, don't be shy to poke me in game should you need som emore information.

Re: Merteenus, Gnome Warlock - cancelled

Okay cool, the offers is great thank you, but yeh i am looking for a solid raiding slot to be honest. But i would rather be in a good guilds secondary raids than a bad guilds primary raids. Much much much rather. So I will have a dabble and check out the other guilds i could join (this is my first and only application so far) and may or may not accept at the moment if that's okay. And congrats on Nefarian too guys !!! skillzzzzz !!!
