Cianwarlock, Gnome Warlock - declined

Hello!

My name's Cian, I was born -94 (17 y /o this year) and I live in Sweden.
Until the 17th of August I'm on summer holidays from school, but after that I may not be able to participate in all raids every week,
given the fact that the school schedules with tests and homework are irregular.
I'm in school from 8.40-16.00 so I'll probably make it to the raids.

I speak swedish and english practicly equally, so there won't be any language issues as long as we speak english smile

My main character is Cianwarlock, which was my first character in WoW and has been my main ever since.
I also have a lvl 85 druid, on which I heal from time to time. It's my only active alt, called Audaciter.
I've played WoW since the "middle" of TBC, though I've hardly raided until Cataclysm.
It didn't take too long to adapt to raiding though.

My main spec is destruction, http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/s … nt/primary , though I'm offspeced demonology for the AoE which is needed on some boss encounters.
I don't know if it matters, but my proffessions are JC/mining 525. I mainly selected JC to get some easy gold in WotLK, but I don't mind the +67 intellect gems in Cata big_smile

Gear: (armory link) http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/s … ock/simple
Now, my gear may not be the very best, but I'm doing what I can to change that.

As said, I hardly raided until Cataclysm. I did OS , VoA, Naxx and ToC 10m in WotLK, and was overall pretty badly geared and did low dps.
In Cataclysm I've raided a bit with Ancient Warriors, BwD 3/6, BoT 2/4 and BH 1/2
However, the raiding group (very well lead by Anagrass) didn't get very far, and I felt like I was wasting my time reading up on tactics for the bosses that came after, since we never got there.
And now I put my hope in TEO, and if you won't have me I'll just have to try for another guild until I get in, as it is.

My latency is normally around 64-80ms, although I recently got a new modem, and to make a long story short my internet bugs sometimes.
But I rarely get disconnected. When I do I'm back in WoW as fast as possible of course.

I left my old guild because of a small fight. or rather a disagreement with one of the officers.
He was already planning on kicking me, and seeing as he is a close friend of the guildmaster and has been in the guild since it was made,
I didn't have much of a chance of staying in. So rather than making a dramatic scene with getting kicked and discussing it, I just left instead.

Then again, I've wanted to leave for a while, I recently got my friend back in the game so I stayed because of him and the new opportunities,
but the recent events changed everything. Also, I've wanted to join TEO before, but my gear was so bad I would've been ashamed to join tongue
But now that I'm pretty much f*cked I might aswell apply and hope for the best.

I'm basicly looking for a good raiding guild and some nice people who care a bit about the raids,
nothing too fancy but I want the raids to be taken a little bit serious.

At the moment any day of the week is fine for me to raid, but when school starts and I get my schedule that might change, as mentioned.
I'll always get enough if not too many flasks and enough buff food for raids, and naturally I show up on time if I sign up for a raid.

If there are any questions or anything just whisper me in game or send me a mail, I'm on every day to check it anyway.

And, as my final words, I apologize for making such a long application, I was a bit nervous about it and I tend to write alot when I get nervous.

Best wishes

Cian

Re: Cianwarlock, Gnome Warlock - declined

Thanks for the application, even if the format is a little bit funny. Our forum is not very much in favor of copy pasting from text editors.

We will get back to you shortly, meanwhile, make sure you work hard on you gear - there's plenty of fairly easy upgrades around for you. I won't get low enough to name any specific ilvl, but let's just say that by now it's more than easy to replace blue gear.

I see no significant progress in terms of gearing the toon up. At this moment, your gear makes me believe you're not very serious about raiding, which leads me to the conclusion that I cannot offer you a spot in our raiding team.
