Simulated DPS on single target fight. The gear is also just T12HC, so class scaling and further patches will change the order.

They never were top dps on single target fight. The strenght (and the "rating" on comparisons) comes from multidotting on multi-target fights.

What surprises me is Ret paladins coming second for Single target DPS, haven't been on mine for a while, so I was unaware their DPS output had been increased by so much; or is this chart misleading in any way?

Also interesting to note that Warlock Demonology ranks high in both single and multi target, i need to spend more time leveling mine

It's also based on a tier where some specs have 397 ilvl weapons, and others only 391, like 2hand frost/unholy vs DW frost.
