Don't worry!

Given the cheap mail loot, you will have insanely high ilvl when comparing to the rest of the raid and it will balance out the fact that the class might be bit behind!

Re: The end of world and what follows - I'm lovin' it!

So as already stated I'm having the time of my life enjoying all this superdrama on various foras. Another small brick today, this time a little more interesting. A recent news on mmo-champion holds a graph presenting some statistical data, which allow to draw conclusions on the number of representatives of each class on different level of gaming.

To my surprise, hunters are just about at the very bottom (side by side with rogues, but that's understandable - not only do they suck, half of them is also in stealth mode, so you just can't see them). And the decrease of share towards the high-end of the pool is somewhat huge. Now, what makes me wonder is whether this has anything to do with good ("high-end") hunters actually rerolling in perpspective of patch 4.3 or not.

Noone knows, but still, interesting!

Looks like those that play hunter in general also have a lot of alts.

You can't use historical data to illustrate what might be going on right now. I'm not sure what the state of hunters have been so far in this expansion, but I'm certain than 4.3 will have 0% impact on the graphs you see on MMO-Champion about what people have been doing untill now. (That is unless they acutally delete their character when rerolling.)

The graph is based on Valor points gains, the more points gained the more serious and the closer to "high-end" the player. So I hold my point. If people were to decide to reroll away from hunter within the last month, the graph would capture it.

Re: The end of world and what follows - I'm lovin' it!

The graph show that there has been fewer high activity hunters up until now. It say nothing about the changes that might have occured the last month. Even if an active hunter reroll to something else, that character wont suddenly loose the valor points he might have collected.

How many valor points can you collect in 1 month anyway? You could be right if almost everyone with the achivement got it the last month and there are few hunters because they stopped gaining points.

Gearing guidelines for 4.3. No idea how good it proves to be.
