Blizzard poster hinted they will let us know next week whether leveling a monk via RAF will be possible at the release.

Sure am!
The class is surprisingly ok balanced for something brand new. Dps spec is middle of the pack, tanking has both its ups and down. If anything, healing is perhaps on the strong side, but then again it's not any easy to do, so by no means is there a one- button shortcut to victory.
Pvp savy people say things look less good there, but I wouldn't know.
