Hi
I'm Philip.
I've been playing wow on and off since vanilla(don't really know the exact point at which I started since it was long time ago and I wasn't really all that smart back then), I didn't raid anything till tbc.
During the burning crusade I raided Everything up to SWP, I was basically the working raid-leader along side a mage named Naptune. I was working as a off-tank/dps on my druid Kattekongen( http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/r … gen/simple /Played=169days, 6 hours ).
Especially archimonde stands out due to the role I had to take as a decurser and healer, I hated healing back then, when he finally died it felt as I've accomplished something extra. Also I like my original ZA-bear mount, I was leading a mixed guild group for a couple of months farming that mount!
The guild which I raided everything up to Illidan(We obviously also killed him) with stopped raiding before entering SWP due to lack of members over the summer.
I joined a swp guild, but they had the same problems with lack of members due to the summer so my raiding carrier of tbc basically was put on a break the rest of tbc
In WOTLK I was 2 months delayed after the expansion was released but I quickly caught up and started doing the achievements which gave me the plagued and the black proto-drake and a tittle or 4.
I did that as moonkin. Once again my guild died off as new content arrived(ulduar, we did clear some of it before stopping completely) and I took a rather long break. Eventually I came back a few months before the cataclysm.
I joined a guild which I cleared everything in 4.0 on normal mode but neffi, I wasn't sattisfied with the very, very casual raiding which I had engaged so I joined the Guild Hottie Hamsters.
We managed to take down a few HCs such as the twin drakes and magmaw, at this point I was playing as feral cat. The guild couldn't sustain a 25m team thus transformed into a 10m raiding team.
The 10m raiding team consisted only of the old members of the guild, thus most of the core raiding team including me was benched. This let to my latest exit in wow.
Now I'm back once more, I can't really say I plan to do any serious raiding in cata. But MOP has gotten my raiding spirit back online thus this application should be perceived as a MOP application.
If you accept me you will get a player who always prepares for raids, bringing potions and elixirs and obviously participate in dungeon grinding etc outside of scheduled raiding. In general I'm a really nice guy, I used to sit on VT all day long before and after raids talking with my guildies.
I also have a bunch of alts, 4 of them is 85 but I never really spent much time on any of them but my grinding hunter.
As it stands right now I would prefer to play on my enhancement shaman, Dahh( http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/r … ahh/simple /played 8 days and 4 hours ).
I don't have any serious raiding experience on the toon, but I understand the game thus it shouldn't really be a problem to polish it. Also you shouldn't really be too worried about the spec, gemming and enchanting as I haven't looked into that at all. Also mining at least is going to be changed into something useful such as alchemy.
If you chose to accept me I expect a serious raiding environment where progress is the goal. I'm not interested in a guild infested with lootwhores and whiners, slackers and idiots. I wish to kill bosses.
If the recruitment of shamans is off the table it could be a possibility to join on my druid. That would be as cat though.

I'll be bluntly honest - the amount of "breaks" and "quits" somewhat alarmed. With the amount of players already interested in MoP raiding spots, I'd have a hard time reserving one for you, without seeing you perform beforehand. Also, the fact that at this point you don't really have any experience with the toon you would want to raid with also doesn't sound reassuring.
In light of the above, here's what I can offer - gear the shaman of yours to a reasonable level, learn to play it (no pun intended), then once you feel you're ready we can throw in some alt run to see how you're performing and whether we're a good match in general.
I'll leave this topic opened so that you can respond if such a consensus is interesting for you.

Well, the breaks in the end of tbc, wotlk and early cata was coursed by guilds dying or changing setup(from 25 to 10m). I left because I wasn't interested in starting all over in a new guild, the process to go from trial to end up on the core raiding team is quite stressful to me since I'm competitive. I have a year of basically doing nothing, I just have to take a part time job. Besides from a couple of weeks(~16 days) vacation in october/november I see nothing that could interfere with my raiding. and it's not even sure that the vacations will interfere with raiding as the MOP release date is still unknown as far as I know.
I understand that you wish to see me raid, my gear lacks a lot of tweaking and I lack proper weapons, I'll make when I feel suited to the task.

I'll close the application for the sake of clarity, contact us again when/if you wish to update it.
