Hello, my name is Razvan and i'm from Romania (Bucharest). Since my x guild transferred back to their original faction H and moved to Kazak Today i decided to try my luck and make an application for "The Enigma Order". I'm a social person, not married yet, i work a lot but also i enjoy play a lot World of Warcraft , i also enjoy walking outside in weekends and drink few beers with my RL friends some times (yes 30+ people still do that seems : )

Regardless of its quality (ilvl), is you gear fully taken care of? Safe for some specific cases (eg. an item about to be replaced next week)
Yes i always take care to gem, enchant and BS socket my items. Also as soon i get a new item for main spec or even os i try gem/enchant with the best available at that moment, and even if the content is new and don't have the necessary resources (example new epic gems witch cost a LOT) i will try to farm more or lean some gold from friends/guild.

Tell us about your alts (armory links included), how good are you with them:

I have a combat rogue and an arcane mage , lets say i'm decent enough with them to do full ds norm and even few heroics, but sadly they are on my old serv atm Doomhamer and i can't aford to transfer them on Ravencrest as well .
I also have a resto/boonkin druid lev 82 witch wil be soon 85 and i plan to use it mostly to farm the new MoP herbs/veins in order to help my main BS/Alch but also the guild if will be needed/required. I can also do full norm DS on druid and even few heroics (i speak from the exp i have on another druid i got on Outland A full epic/ect)

Raiding Experience (be thourough here, the more information you give us, the better; both pre-Cataclysm and present progress is interesting for us; tell us about previous guilds):

In 2007 i raided with several guilds in TBC on Emeriss mostly. First was Philantropists a guild with dutch raid leaders and with them i learn to play  and what raiding means and we did together Karazhan Gruul lair and Magheridon Lair (pre nerf) Also few bosses in Tempest Keep and SSC. I liked this guild not only because they accepted and leached and raised a noob raider at that time but also because they were special using only own tactics and never reading the internet forums/movies
The guild disbanded and then i moved to Oenis another strong guild from Emeriss, and with them i made Kael and Lady Vash before atunment was removed from Hyjal and BT. With them i also cleared Hyjal and a good part of BT.
Since many players were moving to Hight pop servers Emeriss was slowly ding and Oenis also had to stop, so i took my next guild this time Solution but sadly it ended like Oenis b4 we could kill Illidan.
I was then lucky enough to be recruited by Daggers of Darkness the 2nd A guild at that time, and with them i had a beautiful long story, we cleared BT then we moved to Chromagus server (Emeris was dead) and toghever we cleared all Sunwell and Muru pre-nerf. Then we moved to Doomhamer for WoTLK and we had decent results clearing all content from Nax/Eye of Eternity/Satharion 3d and making nice achivs like the Plagued Proto drake till LK heroic 10 and 11/12 heroic on 25 (sadly got LoD only in Cata). Then i had some disagrees because of some rude danish players inside the guild and i did one of the biggest mistakes in this game and i left them for Ravencrest server (i still care a lot for them and my 2 alts are still there).
Here i raided with some old players from Emeriss days in a guild named "The Dark Embrace"and we cleared most of the old Cata content in 25 (except Nef/Council/Cho'Gal/Sinestra/Akir heroic witch some of them i did later on after FL/DS).
Because of some leaders disagrees things here dint work to good and the guild split in more directions and one of them was "Wipe Faster" a guild where i also moved and we did realy nice progres clearing FL 7/7 heroic (Ragna hc only after DS was out tho) and DS 8/8 hc (spine and madness after 10 % nerf however )
After we basically cleared everything they moved to H side on Kazak to continue their adventures in Mist of Pandaria, me however i got to many friends on A side witch i want to do old dungeons and stuff and i could not even do crosserver  from horde, so here i'm tring to get a new virtual home

What attendence should we realistically expect from you:
If no shit happens like a dc or real life problems witch none can can know or prevent (and i hope i wont get many my attendance should be 99 %

Any external factors affecting activity we ought to know about:
Your raiding days and hours are ok for me at this moment, but honestly i can't speak how will be in one year from now on.

At this point of time, how long do you expect you will continue playing WoW:
My plans are to play same as i did till now.. all contents raids and dungeons like i did from 2007 till today, but sadly i think i will have to go casual or stop if i will not find another decent guild who will accept me in.

Why are you good at playing your class?
I don't like to use big words like good or pro ect , i like to be modest and say that i consider myself a decent holy paladin healer since in my healing career i also saw many better than me.
Convincing you ... the most important thing i can say is that i heal for 5 years now, and i adapted from new spells, buffs, talents and content every single time... some times asking for advices others times searching on forums and movies how to improve myself (i do my home work to remain a "good" holy paladin and even protection)

What do you consider the most significant pros and cons of your class/spec in the current state of affairs:
I consider pro the holy paladin at this moment because it have a lot of AoE healing when people group up with Holy Radiance and Light of Dawn. also i consider the holy paladin pro because it have many cooldowns to keep tanks alive like Beacon of Light , Hand of Sacrifice and Lay on Hands.
The minus i believe we have is when there are fights/tactics where the raid takes a lot of dmge and have to spread, then out HR and LoD will become almost infective (here resto shamans have a big + with their chain heal jumping). Also another big minus we have for years now is the fact movement is still affecting us a lot when we have to move + heal, of course we got holy shock much often now and WoG and instant FL some times but still not compared with others like Druids witch can rej the whole raid when moving. Thats all i can think at this very moment but i suppose we can speak a LOT about plus and minus we have, and if you like we can do that on TeamSpeak in case i get in the team


When approaching new content, a fight that both you and the raid will try for the first time, how do you prepare?
Well the first thing i will try out if the time will allow me will be the test and beta servers in order to make a visual idea of the fights.
If time will not allow me i will watch movies from beta servers like Youtube/TankSpot/Fatbosses ect (after all we aren't hard core to always got test/bets)
Second thing i wold chat on real ID friends who been on those fights on the test servers, and i wold go read MMO champion , WoWhead, Tankspot , Elitist-Jerks and many others forums about the new boss encounter.
And third and maybe the most important thing i will always ask the officers or the RL b4 we do anything. This can be considered a plus for me in the case you think same as i do "better ask than sorry" or a big minus in the case you think "do your home work stop asking 1000 questions and distracting the RL"


Given Spine of Deathwing heroic was one of the harder fights recently and required certain specific actions and execution, tell us how you prepared for it:
Indeed this was one of the hardest fights for me and my guild "Wipe Faster". At first we had to learn about the debufs Blood Corruption Death and Blood Corruption Earth , witch i solved fast sayng i will do all the dispels thx to my glyph witch reduce the mana cost when cleansing but also thx to my PvP 2,2 k experience where dispels need to be done fast and calculated.
Then we had to adapt on grp up to roll the boss and we soon discovered that for us healers this was even harder than the exploding phase so we started to sort out our best cooldowns like barrier/Divine Hym, spirit link totem and aura mastery for these huge inc dmge when people were forced to grp up and had to deal with a lot of slimes + lava on ground + big elementals for few but very dangerous moments.
We also had dps problems in puting down the tendons in just 2 phases so our officers "forced" all the raid dps to take the Valor points trinkets for more burst dmge. In these tendon phases we were using coldowns like buuble, iceblock or cloack of shadows in case the tentacles were grabing us in order to not loose dmge on tendons.
So we slowly adapted to the fight sayng ah this is doable ! Well we found the 3th carapace harder like hell and we had to give time to our warrior tank to adapt kiting LOADS of small oozes. In this phase we were also helping our OT with slowing or stuning cooldowns, for example i was forced to use Glyph of holy wrath in order to AoE stun all oozes when our warr was out of CD's or low HP or when oozes were 100 % killing one of the healers (we had a lot of troubles surviving since the massive intensive healing was generating a lot of threat).
In the end after a LOT of effort we managed to do it with 10 % nerf and was one of the most great days i had in WoW since it was my 31 Birthday as well and i remember the guild passed the healing trinket exactly to make me a present on our first kill/my birthday and this is one of the reasons i will miss them a lot and i will always maintain contact with them on Real ID.


Why are you applying to The Enigma Order, what made you choose us, when and where did you first hear about us:
I apply here because i simply need a "decent" virtual home where i can continue my adventures in World of Warcraft.
I dint choice you for many particular reasons but i most admit two of them are the fact you did 8/8 hc and this confirm you are at least a decent guild to choice for MOP expantion and the second reason the fact you are only raiding 3 times per week (witch i can even extend to 4 max if needed in future)
A random guy told me hey u are a holy pala without guild o.O ? i said yeh.... Well "The Enigma Order" are recruiting a holy pala i hear he said. And here i'm ^^


What do you expect from us, as a guild:
First: of all i expect mature players and not a bunch of child yelling or joking non stop without a good reason.
Second: i expect people to give same interest , dedication and loyalty as i do to the guild.
Third: i expect friendly people to be helpful same as i'm , if i help you doing some old raids achivs i will expect you to not say no every time i need your help as well.
Forth: I can accept criticism, in 5 years of WoW i learn that is imposible to 100 % control nerves and not call someone "f.. t..." u wiped uss 3 times in a row for this reason , or i hear many yelling because of this.... but everything should have a limit in my opinion (For example i will NEVER accept things like m..f ... or even worse stupid jokes about moms and parents since my father is dead and my mother a bit sick) So what i expect is people to know this limits and if they don't officers to take measures against them at least.
Fifth: And this one may sound rude or selfish, i expect a spot in the raids, i don't consider myself a player for the bench (i know what rotation means tho as long is fair mode and i know for some encounters some specific setups are required)

I can confirm that i understood your rules but i most be sincere as always and admit i don't like much dkp system's for many reasons i will not stay to bother you describing. Anyways i can say i'm OK with the rules since i apply here even if i don't like them in totality


When unsure about any aspect of the game, be that tactics, class specific assignments, how do you proceed:
I usually try to not loose focus and understood all, but i feel feel something is not clear for me on tactics i go read forums (not during our raids however) and if something is unclear in front of a boss about tactic or assignment i will try to ask first a healer colleague or someone i know have patience to clear up things for me. If at that point i'm still unsure i will ask our RL using whisper and not interrupting him from explaining on TeamSpeak (i may even do that if i feel is some more people need to understand and not just me)


Why do you play WoW, what are your objectives, why commit more than 10 hours a week to a computer game:
I still play WoW because honestly is like a drug for me ... an wonderful drug/hobby i wont stop use for a lot of time from now on. I could ad the fact that i enjoy progressing in raids but most of all the friends i made here in years of raiding, playing and chating.


Is there anything else you would like to include that may assist your application.
Not really, i can only hope you will accept me so i can prove my loyalty, skills and maybe most important my friendship to you. Thank you for taking you time in reading my application and i hope to hear from you soon guys and ladies


Hardware/Connection:
Usually i have 40 + fps in 25 man raids and 60 + in 10 man raids on high details so if WoW will ever require better PC's some day i can still reduce the visual graphics (obviously not to much to affect my game play experience )
And about my connection i think it is ok usually having 50-100 ms (depends on days) I most admit tho that Romania some times is a "banana country" and shit can happen more often than others places (electricity or internet went down often in some periods but it was fixed fast without affecting much my current guilds)
