Path of Exile

Sup folks

For fans of ARPGs and disgruntled D3 players, has anyone tried out PoE yet?

I downloaded it yesterday and it seems engaging enough.

Re: Path of Exile

I have been beta testing it for a while. At the moment struggling to progress through Act 3 on my Shadow.

Re: Path of Exile

I finished the first difficulty on my energy shield focused cold crit witch yesterday, mostly playing co-op with a shadow.
I found it sufficiently challenging for the initial difficulty and I'm absolutely loving it.

Leveling definitely, no idea about end game.

Re: Path of Exile

Seeking something similar to D2's paladin, i started a templar.

Currently level 28 and leveling with a 2 hander. Since the diversity is huge when it comes to the passive skill tree, i have no idea what definite path to choose ^^

As for the game itself, for someone who's played both D2 and D3, PoE's attack speed may annoy the player a bit tongue

Re: Path of Exile

Have you guys downloaded it from the official site after registration?

I'd like to try it out, but so far I haven't seen any obvious source.

Re: Path of Exile

There's a download link on the official site but the downloader is likely to be very slow, you're better off getting a torrent.
If the torrent gets stuck at 99.9% which is often the case with at least one release you can just start the game let the downloader get the missing files.

Yes. Create an account and proceed to the download.
