Maybeshewill, human ret paladin - accepted

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Age: 23
Gender: M
Country: Russia
Occupation: student (BMSTU, 5th year), also i have some work (eng -> rus translations)
How good is your English: i can read / listen good enough, but can't tell fast and clear some complicated stuff
Anything else about you, the person, we might be interested in: i'm patient and lazy

CHARACTER INFORMATION

Nickame: maybeshewill
Armory Link: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/r … ill/simple
Mainspec: ret 543
Offspec: holy 520, prot (ret gear + 1hand + shield + trinkets)
Professions:  Engineering & Enchanting

Regardless of its quality (ilvl), is you gear fully taken care of? Safe for some specific cases (eg. an item about to be replaced next week), we expect everything to be gemmed, enchanted and reforged optimally. We will likely consult your profile with Mr. Robot. If you're doing something different than it indicates, please explain the reasoning.
I have enough money for bis enchs/gems/etc. I also use some websites like wowreforge/mrrobot/elitistjerks for reforging, comparing items and answering for theory questions. And simc, ofc.

What do you consider the most significant pros and cons of your class/spec in the current state of affairs:
procs: survability, mobility, high 'boost' dps
cons: ret is melee, mdd << rdd when u already have few melees.

Tell us about your alts (armory links included), how good are you with them:
disc 525 (shadow os with healing gear => 30% hit). Imho, disc is the most funniest healing spec atm.
http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/r … kol/simple
I also played mage (90), warlock (90), drood (90) and hunter (85), but i don't enjoy them on high lvl atm, they have no gear, i hold them just for professions.

YOUR PERFORMANCE

Please provide a WoL log presenting your awesomeness. In absence of logs, post screenshots of recount/skada from an encounter of the current tier.
Without this, you will most likely be rejected.

Which pve addons do you use?

Raiding Experience (be thourough here, the more information you give us, the better; both pre-MoP and present progress is interesting for us; tell us about previous guilds):

as moonkin/resto drood (RU-WoW)
before 3.2.: - (did all old pve-achievs in 3.2.-3.3.5. [except anub 25hc])
3.2. 4/5 25, 4/5hc 10
3.3. lk25 april (15%), glory ICC10 may, glory ICC25 sept
3.3.5. rs10hc, rs25

as ret/holy pal  (RU-WoW)
4.0.3. 2/13 10
4.0.6. 5/13 10
4.1. 7/13 10 (in march our RL have left and 10 was dismissed)
4.2. 6/7hc 25
4.3. 7/8 + 3.6mln left madness (on first night of 4.3)

as ret pal on EU
5.0.4. - 5.3. i raided in Kamuflasjefylla. We have 15/16hc and 10/13hc. We stopped raiding in midsummer.

What attendence should we realistically expect from you (for the sake of clarity, please note that while our Monday and Thursday raids start at 19.30, the Sunday one starts at 18.45). If you can't make it on any of our raiding days on a general basis, do not apply.
I think 90% is fair. Vacations, friends' birthdays, illness, etc.

Any external factors affecting activity we ought to know about (some flexibility applies, but we really want players able to join all 3 raids a week):
My vacation ends in 9 days, prob i will not be able to raid in one or two of these days.

Why are you good at playing your class (don't qoute Elitist Jerks, don't give us the stuff every semi decent guide holds; convince us you're good your own way):
My marcoses allow me to deal dmg and run at the same time. With 1 hand.

GUILD RELATED

Why are you applying to The Enigma Order, what made you choose us, when and where did you first hear about us:
http://www.wowprogress.com/pve/eu/ravencrest i raided 16h/week for 1 year, atm i want to raid less. 25ppl is better than 10ppl.

What do you expect from us, as a guild:
Raiding, talking and wasting some time together + some progress and prob even few cool epics.

Please confirm that you have read and understood our rules and they are ok for you (yes, this is our way to ensure we're not asked somewhat silly questions that are already answered in writing at the Rules section of the forum):
Yep.

Why do you play WoW, what are your objectives, why commit more than 10 hours a week to a computer game:
I enjoy teamplaying and i still enjoy WoW. Also it gives me some practice in listening / reading / talking. It's cool, cause i don't want to live in Moscow 4ever.

Is there anything else you would like to include that may assist your application.
I don't like playing holypal, but i enjoy disc priest (prob u don't want one more ret, i'd like to join as priest)

HARDWARE

Please post Speed Test results. Run it from your place to Frankfurt, Germany.
http://www.speedtest.net/result/2915299199.png

Give us a brief specification of your computer - enough to assure it can handle 25 man raids.
intel core2 duo, E8300, 2.83HGz, 2GB, GF8800GT
i played 25ppl in Kamuf for 1 year.
also i will buy new PC this autumn.

Do you have a working microphone and are you able to connect to TS3 servers?
Yes.

Should you be accepted, you will be asked to provide your cellphone number to the leading team. This is for the sake of on-going coordination, your number will not be made public nor used for anything not related to the game. Is this ok?
Yes.

Thank you for the application. Easy to spot an experienced player there, the only issue is that we seem to be getting quite a bit of interest lately, hence I will need some time to double and triple check if we have room. To be sure, you are interested in joining either as a ret paladin or disco priest, depending on what we could use?

Yes.
I'd prefer to join as ret - it's easier, i have more exp and better gear on it.
But if there's no spot for one more plate melee, i want to raid disc/shadow/(holy) with you. I enjoy playing priest, too.

Still no final response, but I thought I could give you this little bit of information I have - it is extremely unlikely we will have room for your retribution paladin. I'm trying to figure out if we can fit the priest in, but it will take some time more.
