The reasons I'm going Retribution...
Keep in mind I'm wearing majority Judgement Gear, with Draconic Maul, so not the best 'dps' gear...or so I thought 
(Also, the first was without ZHC, or Crusader Judged 
)

And didnt Apox have a crusaders strike crit for about 1800?

at lvl 65 in TBC you get a weapon that beats ashcandy(called Hound Voidaxe or something). outdoor ez 5 manable quest.
You rarely see 1400+ CS crits when fighting solo, however in isntances where you get some sunder's etc its imba nice dmg 
Weapondmg + 40% of your spelldmg(Sotc also gives bonus, 40%).
So lets say you have 450-600 weapon dmg on your char sheet. And wearing 250 spelldmg.
525(mid dmg this varies ofc) + 110.
With around 300 spelldmg you get it to hit like the lvl 60 rank of Mortal Strike.
Anyone who thinks the sky is the limit ... has limited imagination !

as far as i know your gear, drah, its suitable for TBC. spelldmg and str. get some crit raiting on top of that and you are good to go.

I got a nice axe, so I'm retri again. However, prot worked really nice in TBC(solo and tanking)

duelwielding + flametongue / windfury eats trough clothies like a madman, thats why i suppose
a tad bit more on-topic.
playing on PTR i've tried out Retri and holy, and i must say that with a descent ally you can own up pretty much everything.
25% chance to crit on holy light, 4k critheals, 2sec holy light casts, it totally rocks.
