M'kay so given that theres a free respec tomorrow with the new TBC talents, was wondering what to go for.... heres what i've come up with so far

Heh, Beard, first You need to say what are you going to do in WoW after the patch. PvP, PvE? Solo stuff? Then we can rate the build

I know this kind of a build from beta, and I need to say that although full fire is unstoppable when you start to nuke, it eats mana like hell. Also, Elemental Precision is useless outside raids, so I'd take Master of Elements instead. You know, this build crits ALOT. Alot and high.
Ah, and why impact if You will mostly use fireballs?

How would you rate this build both for nice dps PvE, and utility PvP? http://www.wowhead.com/?talent-bc=oixVz … ZZVVzcof0o (lvl 70 though)
I don't know if Arcane missiles are viable for dps in PvE though, and I rate Iceblock higher than Slow in both PvP and PvE atm

nevermind, I tried that build, and it sucks. Won't be wasting more tima and money respeccing my mage again.

Empowered Arcane Missiles is very viable dps in both, pve and pvp. Combine that with Arcane Power and Spell power and you got a imba nuke there. Although you need high intellect to chain cast it but it shouldnt be a problem with Arcane Mind.

He's got 2400 hp. Only deep frost can help Apx to survive IMO.

I agree with both of you, this build is reserved for those with high spelldmg, sta and int I guess... I have to go frost to even think of setting my foot in BG's.

You mean water elemental or elementalist build ?

thanks denatus, the firepower shatter build is meant to be great for both pve and pvp from what i have heard, but i really do like heavy frost regardless of pvp pwnage and insta crits

I have to admit I was wrong... After testing this build more thoroughly it just rocks, simple as that. Had a 1101 arcane missile crit in AV just now, and my 900 frostbolt hits, crits for 2200
