This is my gear the moment I hit 70. It is by no means the best gear you can get and consists mainly of questrewards. If I had done more instances I would have had better gear.

Damn, Onslaught Girdle and AV ring? Aren't there some cool replacements?
I'm sure there is. I lost a very nice ring in Sethekk Halls the other day, but other than that I have not seen ang that can replace the AV one. As for Onslaught Girdle, I do have a replacement for that, with alot more stamina but less strenght and the same crit/hit, but since i need the ap...
What sucks though is that im still wearing Gautlets of Heroism...

True, I thought a would have more aswell, and I can get more by replacing some gear, but the fact is that 8.7k seems to be on par with most other warriors I've seen so I guess It's what should be expected. Got about 10.5k in tankgear.

I cant really give you any advice, but nemus says that he will play warrior even though its harder in TBC. he thinks its more fun than other classes. and i guess thats what its about. play the class you like the most.
I can tell you this much, though: if you do continue your warrior, you will be a very popular man, getting tons of groups. just like in the old days really

I have the same problem. I love to play warrior, but i dont know. I have tried Emerson and Windir in the beta.... some different builds and stuff at lvl 70, and we are weak!!! It might change with some arena gear, but that isnt so hot either compared to sheep and 8k pyroblast.
My problem is that i like pvp, and warriors are going to be the skinny kid in the schoolyard. Bullied 2k! In instances you will be popular... as a tank. nothing else. If you like to tank, i see TBC as a golden age, if not you are going to be fucked hard up the ass. The only way i can nicely put it.
Now, this was the problem with warriors before to, and there has been a constant flow on warrior forums of whines about the weakness of the class, and some clothies saying STFU because they got splatted by some top of the line geared warrior with recklessness. The proes have always been the war is one of the most, if not the most fun class to play. The cons is that it is potentially very weak, and you will often be stuck with the tank tag in pve.
I have said this before: I did not roll a tank. I have also quoted the game manual that said we could choose to be a damage dealing powerhouse. Also seeing how all other classes have better aggro control than warriors in TBC, it makes little sense to me why we should be forced into this role. And if i want to pvp my way to gear, be ready to die for a year then maybe you can kill a rogue again.
This is why i have been wondering about a shaman.. between the power in pvp, and the threat reduction from melee in pve it seems more fun atm.... wait, let me rephrase: it seems less frustrating. Less likely to suck playing. Play the class you think is most fun, sure, but what if that class is no fun to play anymore? The potential in the warrior is the same, but i really think we got kicked in the nuts.

Imo it definitely is. Sure warrior is not the strongest class, not even close. Sure you will die alot. Sure you will have a hard time where other classes might not. Sure you will get steamrolled in pvp (most of the time). There were times while lvling I found myself so frustrated that I wanted to strangle someone, preferably a Blizzard employee. There were times I could not believe what Blizzard had done to the class. But c'mon, we're warriors.
Theres more than one way to look at the endless nerf. I know i probably dont sound like it, but I like to look at them as changes to the class rather than nerfs. Blizzard takes away some of our dmg, find something to replace it with. Now dont get me wrong, the warrior class is NOT fine, not compared to other classes atleast, but its not that bad. Pve dmg in 5-man instances for example, is really great, im sure we will outdmg most classes there. With healing we are still really good in pvp. And im suer we can be just fine on our own aswell, juat have to find the right "tacs", all out dmg with 4k hp just wont cut it anymore.
So if you want my advice, stick with your warrior.

We didnt get anything, not much anyway, but thats sort of my point. So we dont do as much dmg as we used to, maybe survivability is the way to go. I'm not claimng to have any answers here, maybe the warriorclass is utter useless, but why not try to adapt before giving up?
And no, im not positive, cmon, its me your talking about here! But I dont like the idea of just giving up just yet
Besides, I kinda like being the underdog.

no, that's just a "cut" of an allready posted pic on this forum by geirkri, the actual fun thing was that the warrior was still alive after the crit

It was a duel, thats why the warrior didnt die.
The mage had Arcane power, ZHC, Power Infusion, Battleground Berserking and the warrior had Recklessness. I think they used the hunter exploit too. Anything can look bad if taken from the whole picture.

Im not using it to make anyone/thing look bad, just to make a point. I know its not possibe to crit for that much under normal circumstances, but just yesterday i got critted for 6,1k by a mage from Ginnuga, no setup.

About this whole one-shotting thing:
You could argue that a rogue can run around one-shotting people whenever he feels like it, simply by stealthing up and one-shotting people who are already low on health. And this is something that can be done consistently without depending on luck.
I know that based on that, any class can one-shot people, but the rogue class is sort of defined by this behaviour. How is this different in the long run?

Let's rephrase it then: Oneshotting someone from full health to 0 health should NOT happen, no matter the circumstances.

arcane power is the worst thing to happen to wow imo

But I thought the main point was that since you got one-shotted the fight was not about skill?
How is this any different than a class that revolves around sneaking up on low-health people?
EDIT:
The point I'm trying to make is - how is it that it bothers us that a mage can - once in in a 100 or perhaps 1000 fights - one-shot a full health warrior, when rogues constantly one-shot people because it is in the very nature of their class?
