understand this, baloth and everyone else, that i defended wolfman back in the day. someone feared he would leave, but i told them (based on what he had told me) that he would never leave us, he would rather quit the game than leave TEO.

I was aware of that yes when I posted, don't think I can't use my brain because it was never proven that I could. When I first heard the rumors about Wolfman wanting to leave the guild I too thought he wouldn't because I witnessed his devotion and dedication to the guild. I'll say it like this, people sometimes need something new, in the game or RL it doesn't matter, it will most likely result into a long break, moments of no availability used to explore different aspects of the game or RL, one uses alts for that, one goes on a break, another migrates to another realm but sooner or later we all realise we need to show ourselves again and prove we still got what it takes.

Don't forget Obscure how it was I who was held back by you when Wolfman left without leaving a note on our refridgerator. I still remember the words I spewed in the enigma channel, do you?

Re: Wolfman

yes i defended wolfman even up to that point. that is probably also the reason im reluctant to welcome him with open arms in TEO, cause i thought him as a friend, and friends stick up to eachother. they dont lie straight up in your face. we have seen a lot of rotation, naturally enough, but i dont think anyone has dissapointed me more than wolfman.

Re: Wolfman

well don't forget its still a game.
And don't just look at the only thing he did wrong cos he wanted to try something else but look how he was in the guild and what he has done for the guild.
Don't forget its a game made for fun and try sometimes new stuff.
and well rejecting someone like wolfman (don't think it will happen tho) is imo just wrong and then you'll see this isn't just a "game"anymore for fun....

....just play the game for fun big_smile

Re: Wolfman

i dont think we have anything too loose by letting him come back. i dont really care what happens, cause we have imba warriors in our guild now that didnt leave, wolfie was prolly just confused by the fustration of not raiding/progressing as he/we were used 2. so he made a big mistake, hes just human(i thinks). and this must be the 3rd-4th time someone has left teo and is asking to come back? hope no one else makes this mistake!

if he ninjaloots some runecloth or whatever /gkick !  tongue

Cant give you the exact numbers, but its somewhere between 10 and 15. And then im only talking about those who actually left and have asked in one way or the other to come back. We dont joke when we say that those who leave will regret it, cause they always do...

edit: after doing some thinking, the number is closer to 20. let me put it like this: We are not suprised anymore when leavers want back.

Re: Wolfman

Pride is something very odd and makes poeple act irrationaly. I could imagine, when someone said he would never leave the guild and than felt it wasnt at that time the thig he really wanted, he could "lie" simply not to look stupid. This is very human. Of course after htis time spent in TEO he should say something. But ok, thta was a mistake , again human thing. what is importad for me is that he stood up and admited he made mistake, that imo is actually the hardest part ( and he is a man wink )
Some people feel really betrayed some dont. I know it might be hard for some of you, specialy those who know him good, but id like to think of TEO as of guild that gives second chances to its members and can forgive.
Since it takes time to regain trust if officers think its needed, Wolfie could be on some testing period ,maybe even in ted. And if loot is really a matter here, just aply some special rooles or something. He was really devoted when he was with us and I would really like to see him next to me in TBC ( not that ill need tank, im a druid after all tongue )

Re: Wolfman

I've been hesitant to speak my mind until this point but now I too feel the urge to voice an opinion. Up until I heard Wolfie left I had thought of him an essential part of TEO spirit. It was a big surprise to see him leave and it made me sad. I still believed he had TEO in him, though. Now he has come back asking for forgiveness and I, for one, would welcome him with open arms. He was (and still is) imo a big part of what TEO has been turned out to be as a guild.

Partly connected to accepting ppl that left I would actually accept most of the ppl that left back to the guild. Maybe im just too soft. But after speaking to a few of them, I have got the image they are hugely regretting letting go of their place in TEO, ever. I myself know I could never leave for any other guild as long as TEO exists as I know how great a group we are. In other words the people that left have realised what they had and are now trying to get it back.  But it is not my place to decide on the matter. But im rooting for letting him in as a testplayer.

Re: Wolfman

I feel I should write here in this matter.

Wolfman DID come to Outland with myself and jango, after we told him there was a warrior spot open in the guild we were joining. He applied to that and got accepted.  The guild itself had good progress and looked to be green grass.

Then Wolfie was not able to do anything like he normally did in TEO for reasons I will not write here (+ the warrior classleader in the guild is a retard, but thats another story). When this happened I really felt sorry for wolfie. So hence it did not turn out to be what none of us expected. And as Wolfie prolly can tell, I was one of the first to tell him he should go back to SR since its his home. Outland was just a place he needed to be to learn where his home is (imo).

Wolfie has always preformed well in any raid, and would tbh be a good addition to ANY guild. But the atmosphere in Enigma is something special. I cannot count the many times I have wished to be doing stuff with the good old people once more. Wolfie has admitted he did a mistake and asks for forgiveness.

Some of you say "it cannot be tolerated". Are you people trying to judge from a high horse? certainly you people certainly have done stuff you regret in your lifetime, and it takes BALLS to ask for forgiveness.

If it had been a member that was just there for epixx it would have been an easy case, but come on people, You should think whom it is some of you is slapping the hand off here.

I do hope wolfman gets back in Enigma and that Enigma will have a nice time in TBC with lots of epixx coming your way. If some things had been handled otherwise before TBC, prolly none of this would have never happened (Wolfman testing his luck on a lol server).

Re: Wolfman

You guys know that i very rarely write on recruit forums as i have always seen recruiting business of officers. Anyway i strongly feel that this is matter where i should write my opinion and my opinion is this.

What i have come to know Wolfman he was always good and decent player. Yes he left us in times where we needed him, but people makes mistakes and i really think there's people who need second chance. And Wolfman is one of them. Anyway, there's been other players who have got second chance to raid with us again like Chaelot. And i personally believe that Wolfman would bring lot experience and skill to our upcoming raids. Though there seems to be lot of disapointment, understandably, amongst officers i hope you guys can overcome it and give a new chance for man that in my opinion deserves it.

so, to put it all simple:

I want Wolfman back.
