Now, when the level 70 comes nearer and we are propably starting our raiding again in next upcoming two weeks, i would love to get you guys post some information about your paladins and role you would want to play in TBC. I personally believe that there will be size for every position for paladins in TBC because the changes in TBC. It comes to see how many paladins we will need in 25-raid, but my expectation is that it's 3-4. And it seems we have pretty good amount of paladins atm, and all very skilled too. So, please give me little information about your plans what comes to your raiding activity, your raid build and also, what tier set you want to collect: DPS,TANK,HEAL Also, if you have some thoughts or questions, please feel free to contact me ingame or write these forums
Vonhankkija will go with these virtues:
Build: HOLY 41 (minimum) PROT 11, RETR 7
Raid Activity: As much as possible whole spring
SET: HEAL
From light to light:

Build atm: 46 Holy, 7 Retribution
Aiming at: Dps/healing in instances, keeping judgements up with Crusaderstrike and backuphealing. Although if that will put my spot in jeopardy, I'll dress up in cloth and heal (as usual)
Raid Activity: As much as possible as Von wrote.

Jeepers gleepers!
Right now, my build is 10/0/42, but, im changing back to full prot, since dmgadin wasnt any fun at all, horrray for crusaders strike missing 80% of the time.
Since tankadins wont be a huge asset in raids, i guess i can go full holy and be a healadin ftw!

My deep hope and insight is to get good combination of paladins from each trees to guild, and to raid with idea that there's always (in ideal situation) one holy oriented, one protection oriented and one retribution oriented paladin in 25 man raids.. Hopefully blizzard don't fuck up these virtues

I'm currently holy specced and it seems to work out quite well, but I havn't quite decided on which armor set I'll try to get. However I do plan on raiding once we get ourselfes established properbly on lvl 70

Vohan, a question!
Is there any room at all for a protadin in Enigma raids? or will we all be forced to specc holy to get picked for raids? It's not that im not willing, but it really takes the fun out of the game...
Offline
Definitely no for forced respecs! There's three spot aproximately for paladins in 25-men raids, and if i have option i would see that there's always 1xprotection 1xretribution and 1xholy paladin in raids. Atm i would love to see someone respeccing as retribution/protection because almost everyone plays paladin as holy style now. I'm personally going to try protection tanking after i have collected some decent tanking gear, until then i'll stay as holy..

As Vonhankkija says, no-one is forced to respec. We have never had any spec requirements in TEO. The most dedicated(hardcore) raiders have always had the most pve oriented spec, but we have never forced anyone to respec to join a raid, and hopefully never will. It will only ruin the game-experience for the one who has to respec every time he wants to raid.
*edit*
A protection paladin may come in handy in Karazhan or later instances.

Well, im full prot now, and i love it! I dont have the best tank gear, just going for +spell dmg atm. But as a tank, i must say im quite surprised about how well we can tank, havent done any badass heroic instances yet, but i think the people who's had me as a tank during a instance run is quite pleased. Glad to hear that i can keep at it, and hopefully off tank in a raid someday

i wanna spec prot some day 2, got alot of good tanking gear 4/5 of righteous set.
Personally, you are welcome to respec as soon as we have enough paladins attuned with karazhan. Paladins are imba undead tanks there i have heard.. Also, some of druids need to respec as restoration, we kinde could use some tree's in our raids.. I have only 1/5 of righteouss atm so i need to stay sometime with holy still..
Little edit:
btw Ino, you have very impressive healadin gear too atm (like compared to my Vonhankkija), so you are very valuable player weather you choose to play as healer or tankadin
