Frostbolt, rank 11 and rank 12

So, I dinged 63 last night. "YEY NEW FROSTBOLT HERE I COME".

Or wait, rank 12 is worse than rank 11 ? Level 63 skill worse than lvl 60 skill. Wth ?

Rank 11 frostbolt..338 mana, 556-599 dmg. 50% slow
Rank 12 frostbolt 347, 553-596 dmg. 50% slow

Wth ? More mana cost, less dmg.

I looked into this afterwards, and actually, it works as intended.

I leveld to "64" ish with fire, it rocked, now I want to try Frost. Then again, I'm really tempted to go Fire again wink

And its working just as good as the frost build, perhaps abit faster killing, but I'm also much more fragile.

But after seeing the four new instances, You have to agree that there are no real places where You need any special protection... So fire mages' vulnerability is not that big a problem atm. Maybe (maybe!) on that bugged poison boss in the Underbog, when You get damage out of the blue...
BTW anyone noticed where does that damage come from? Those strange "hey man, here's +2k damage for you" things, that are not a poison?

Talon King Ikiss did something similar in the beta...if you were below 70% hp you suddenly died if you were in LoS after a teleport
