A 'The Enigma Disorder' Application.

I don't really know where to begin with this. I guess I'll have to start off by saying, I want to be part of Enigma again - any way I can. Not for epics or anything like that before you start thinking that - but for a place close to my heart. I have recently re-rolled back to Stormreaver to my hunter, Staralfur (Some of you will already know this I think) because I got homesick I guess and I need to feel at home again. The friends I had on Vek'Nilash stopped playing and guild I was in created a huge sense of anxiety for me. The reception back to Stormreaver from old friends has been great and I've since realised that I should not have left in the first place. Friends can still be friends, wherever your position in a game but you only have one home and I think I should have realised that long ago.

And so it comes to who I want to play with at this time of World of Warcraft's existance and through the levelling process of The Burning Crusade - and I believe I am still an Enigma so to speak. I still enjoy taking part in /enigma chat but I feel it is just not the same. The Enigma Disorder is a place for TEO member's alts and friends and although I no longer have a main there, I would like to think I still have some good friends there. I said I'd be watching you closely when I left - and I was upset to find out many people had continued to leave. But now you seem to have the unit you wanted all along, and I'm really happy that's happened.

I don't know if any information about my hunter in particular is needed. It's not the best geared character - but I'm doing my best to get Rank 13 and 14 gear for levelling in TBC. I took part in some very nice WSG and AB raids with some other Enimgas yesterday, and it felt good to hear old, familier voices again on Teamspeak. I don't know if you want any other kind of information on the character itself but if you do, just ask. If you are wondering about what I'll do with my Druid, then I can answer that. Orcalin is stuck on Vek'Nilash until February 3rd. As soon as I can, I will migrate him back to Stormreaver. However, that does not mean Orcalin will become my main character again. Staralfur will remain my main character because The Burning Crusade opens up more opportunities for me to change my viewpoint of the game. With Orcalin, there seemed to be just the one view point to it - and that was to raid until I could raid no longer, and catalysed by my friends not playing anymore, that happened just over two weeks ago.

And so I leave it in your hands. It's not the most formal application you will see, of course. I don't really know how to go about it to be quite honest but I have tried my best.

Staralfur. (Formally known as Emorcalin.)

Re: A 'The Enigma Disorder' Application.

so have you made any thoughts wich character to make your main in TBC? cause even if your druid is better geared than any of us, it doesnt really matter. your hunter will have equal gear after two weeks of good gaming in TBC. choice is yours.

and you have to tell us in detail about your old guild, cause reading the official forums, i see drama wich worthy a soap opera.

Re: A 'The Enigma Disorder' Application.

That guild set up looks totally retarded and represents the worst kind on elitist / loot wh0re set up you can get. The warrior officer that took 2 Naxx  1 hander weapons "because no one else wanted them and they would be sharded" (when they had rogues still using mc gear) was such a blatent lie it made me laugh.

Re: A 'The Enigma Disorder' Application.

We need more drama in TEO imo... i vote for no 2h for paladins in TBC guild runs... they are to imba as it is. And Vonhan can only use worn daggers

Edit: he can enchant them tho... im not unfair or anything like that!!

nice Orca, welcome back. But seriously id think again about your char choice . Even with current changes we are really fun class smile. And i think thta in tbc where small parties will raid it might get even better.  I myself have "imba" lock as alt but so far im pretty sure ill stay on Kashtan.
Anyway, good to have you back , in any form wink

Staralfur will be my main for sure in TBC. I prefer it for everything at the moment, finding it much more fun. I'm sure Druid will be fantastic too, I think I have two really nice characters to have the choice of playing. But this patch was a nice test to see which I'd prefer in TBC and it really looks as if my hunter will be my first choice.

As regards to old guild drama - I never paid much attention to that situation. There appeared to be many lies in that post on Vek'Nilash's official forums and the whole thing went a bit out of hand. I just wanted to play - not get involved in guild politics or dramas. The anxiety created wasn't through the drama of the guild - but just the pressures of it seeming to be a "You must do this or you get kicked. We > you, lol." etc. And it kind of destroyed my ambition to play my Druid anymore. But it's turned into a good thing, having already learned a lot about my new class. smile

Re: A 'The Enigma Disorder' Application.

Well it was either stay with my Druid stressing myself out more than I do at school, come back here with my old friends, or quit all together. And well, I was thinking of quitting a week before the patch came and I thought I'd just see what it was like for both characters. Turned out I enjoyed the new Hunter talents more than the new Druid ones, and it gave me reason to keep playing, learning how to play a different class. smile
