how are paladin tanks, compared to warriors and druids???
what are there advantages and weaknesses??? everyone seems to slate paladin tanks alot, just wondered why.

pros:
-hold aggro on multiple mobs very good.
-we can block wich druids cant
-pretty nice taunt.
-can healourselves while tanking
-recive mana on heals.
-very good "pulling" talent
cons:
-besides sta, str, defence, block, parry and dodge gear, we also need int, spelldamage and maybe some mana regen, wich nerfs the other stats abit.
-hard 2 get excelent pala tank gear.
-need mana to hold aggro.
-runs out of mana pretty fast.

I have not yet played pala tank so can't give answer for that. Though some problems i know are
1. We don't get enough mana from heals in 5-men instances, so paladins run little too easy oom. This proplem do not exist in 10-men or 25-men instances due the larger healing amount we get.
2. Mana drain: Just too funny to tank if there's mob which can suck all your mana in sec
3. Silence/spell locks: Completele close our combat system
4. Itemization: We seriously lack some weapons with +defence, +int&sta and +spell power. Our agro management comes solely on dmg we deal with our holy spells and lack of spell power serously sever our tanking abilities. Also, our T4 tanking set is just weak compared to many warrior blue tanking items.
But as i said, i really can't stand behing these as i have never tanked in TBC. I have collected tanking set and will respec as soon as i have enough itemization to be able work as decent karazhan tank. ( I actually miss only breastplate from paladins blue tanking gear)

you will not run out of mana, because of the healing you take

Actually, you will run out of mana in 5 men instances, do the lower amount of healing..

i was prot for a week or 2, got oom pretty fast in normal mode, but was almost on full mana after a pack/mob in heroic mode.
