Not what ive seen on many forums and such. Everyone are sayin that we only are good for buffs. we have nice buffs that true but we also can do decent/good dmg in raids

been thinking about going enhancement myself aswell, though I like healing I just get far too much complaints about my lack of skill 'n shit

Well not directly, but knowing the size of the raids these days, signing up as paladin dps/backup heal, you sure as hell wouldn't get a spot.
But to be honest, it doesn't matter much, I won't sign up as dps on my pally as long as it doesn't benefit the raid in any way.

the other mage was like, really cool and trying to calm us down but moments later Palt the mage left anyway because we died, like 3 times because he overnuked and didn't give tank agro

and I'm sure lamme will comment that it's only that he wanted to die that he died, I saw you run for your life you little gnome!
I'm gonna give healing another shot but for some reason I don't think shamans were meant to be good healers at end-game content.

About my mana pool, yep it's not that big, just reached the point where I have 8k unbuffed, but I'm getting there, 10k would be a goal for now. We've been taunting eachother off and on Lamme quoting I'm too weak to let you die or I'm bluffing, fact is I just don't like to see the tank dead and he gets my main attention. The only reason I let you die there was simply a joke because you said I couldn't do it. The reason why you were left with 1 hp at bladefist in shattered halls was because I had just taken a beating from the adds, died and resurrected to finish off what we started, if I didn't heal you with all the mana I ressed with even you would've been dead and it would've been a wipe.

I think part of being a healer is to listen to nuubs blaming you for doing a lousy job themself

Don't be so hard on yourself. From what I've seen healing in raids takes time to get used to. And you still gearing up.

Ninjashammy you always drain your self for mana in 2 minutes when meelee so if a fights lasts for 15 minutes you have 13 minutes with white dmg.

Guess i have to be more mana conserve. And i know i wont get a spot in raids because webser want me to be healer xD. Tho ive been looking on armory and most good guilds got atleast 1 enhancement shaman its imba buffs.

oom? not with 41 points in enhancement. And shamans dont use that much mana as meelee because they alrdy have huge aggro on WF/white hits. Totems and a shock once in a while dont cost that much mana=)

Im sick of some stuff in resto tho. Mana tide still not trainable, Huge aggro on heals, Aggro on earth shiled proccs(lol) And the mana costs of our heal. And we still dont heal as much as a pala/priest but we go oom faster o.O. And priests got prayer of mending that heals more the earth shield without +healing so what use is earth shield lawl.

Then i have a bet with my m8 that im gonna top dps meter in ML....

No offence m8ty but if someone is going to ML to be first in DM... sigh. You know that most important duty for rogues it to interrupt heals for example? Hunters have to freeze trap, mage to counterspell etc. Now, if they will all be looking on dm, M will die in 1st tryout wanna bet?

It's nice to doing instances with ppl looking for overall profit of the raid not ego metter. For example fury warrior doing some thunderclap/demoshout from time to time, hunter concentrated on good crowd control, doing FD before he will pull aggro, stop dps if he crits few times in row etc.

Aggro reduce is needed yes. But in raids maybe shaman is best for melee dps buffs. AND about silence Earth Shock would work if you can CS/Kick and stuff and Earth Shock is a great silence.

And for the melee buffs: 10%AP to the whole group and 77agi/83str to group. Thats nice.

Not atleast not at KTM there i gain threat for earth shield. But the person that has earth shiled gets the "healing done".
