Re: :)

What's up you ask?
to much, way to much.
I'll be less active for the next 3 weeks orso.
Magtheridion Lair and Serpentsrtine Cavers (when we start it) will be my priorities.

Re: :)

I tried some survival\marksmanship mixture soon after I got 70.
I was even thinking about this a bit waiting for the bus today, for that mattar:D
From what I can say, the diffrence between MM and Surv is basically going for crit chance (surv) rahter then ap (mm). In TBC this is achived not only by gathering the right gear (eg. desolation rather then beast lord), but also - if not mainly - gems.
Some basic statistic - if I remember correct turning to survival nerfed my 'defined' dps (the one you see when you place mouse over damage in char window) by rough 30% (had 2 full sets of separete gear, the crit one was way weaker so the loss could be smaller I guess) and boost crit from around 19% to 27,5%. Bare in mind that a build with wyvern string (if that's the name of sleeping thingie) will most probably give you expose weakness as well. At this point the math is kinda useless, because it's luck-depandant. However - assuming you have Hourglass of the sand-something trinket (from BM) which may increase ap greatly upon a crit and expose weakness, the dps may become pretty unstable, but should still be ok.

Despite all that, I was sort of dissapointed with the outcome. The procs were fun, the fact that my autoshot noncrits sometimes did 330 dmg and 5 secs later 550 was entertaining as well, but nothing really wonderful. One thing that I did like was better crowd-control - freezing trap + wyvern and basically you can kill mobs from a group of 3 one by one.

Last thing worth mentioning - I tried this before we started Gruul, so the biggest grp I was in with that was 10 man. Maybe in 25 man havoc expose weakness + improved aspect of the hawk would buff overall dmg, even if yours would be lowered.

(I wrote the above post over 6 hours, so it may be bit inconsistent)

Dwight: Most people think Marv is crazy. He just had the rotten luck of being born in the wrong century. He'd be right at home on some ancient battlefield swinging an axe into somebody's face. Or in a Roman arena, taking his sword to other gladiators like him.
