startart might have sucked, but starcraft ruled, the only bad thing about it was that if you became fairly good, nobody would play against you
starcraft's storyline was insanely well created, as was the balance between the factions.

I never liked games like: red alert, warcraft or any other games that you have to mark your units and click with the mouse to make them move, but Starcraft... awsome... I donno why, but its more fun than any of the other games like it, I liked the fact that you could with in minutes build a pretty nice army of Zerglings and kill your enemy be4 he had a chance to build some defense at all

You liked a game without epic drops?

guessing u haven't played starcraft since they increased the cost for Zergs Spawning Pool to avoid rush attacks
but yea, starcraft definatly owned. Would still be playing it if u could set the resolution higher than 640x480 -_- At least in stcraft2 we'll be able to zoom out

Having something around 100 /played on both chars (nothing impressive), I'm fairly certain that I still played more Starcraft then Warcraft. Damn, come to think about it, the thrill of a match during Poland championship was possibly even bigger then a sight of 40 man instance final boss going down for the first time. This game made me put a LAN with 3 computers in my syper-small room back in the old days. Man, have we played hard...
Having said that, I don't think I'll try Starcraft 2. I barely have time to play WoW every now and then and I'm nowhere close to having thought about quiting it. Simply no time to play two games, even casualy. And to top all that I, still do want to try some Witcher when it hits the stores.

i don't see what it is that is looking so good about starcraft tbh... graphics arent that impressive, looks like age of empires with aliens (yes, i wasnt a gamer before wow, so i only played lame games)

try it. and see for yourself where the word "zerg" comes from ^^

tried it.. found it borring.. back then the graphics was ok, but for now, with some of those engines some games has.. i want it to explode on my screen.. not get the feeling like im playing ages of empires with different senarios and figues.. thats what i ment.

Don't.
I will anyway, I don't expect it to be nothing miraculous, just want to see the graphics and compare it with some TPP stuff I played to know where Polish creators land, looking at the big picture.
