Nihilum commented it had not dropped but because of a step of the encounter they were able to find the item ID. He drops his sword and the NPC picks it up. Still speculation on how you come across these weapons

Clearly Warrior weapon. Let set priority, and after all will get it maby allow rogues to loot

All you have to do is look at the loot frame behind the link page of the sword.

Well, epic 1handers from illidan have ~106 DPS so it's not a huge upgrade over those items BUT what makes the item legendary is the name, the set, and the set bonuses, that 450 haste rating proc is bound to be the ultimate player in why it's legendary if it has just a somewhat large proc rate (around 10-15% would be more than enough to make them worthy of legendary quality).

omg.. insane. hope the next big patch / round of instances will bring a new legendary caster item..
still, imo a NE rogue with The Twin Blades of Azzinoth is kinda like "Grats, you've completed World of Warcraft. U WIN"
maybe it's just because my favorite hero from WC3 is Illidan
