Okay normally I'm not a big whiner when it comes to new patches etc but this!

All I have to say about this is. "Fuck You Blizzard, Fuck you" Why are you taking away some of the best way to make money with enchanting now a days. Just because those "casual players" should be able to make AQ enchants as well. This pisses me off...

the 15agi glove enchant is pretty much the only thing i have that proves i was in a guild that did AQ. this is sad news.

well i don't know much about the casuals, and maybe this is a bit harsh to put em into vendors inventory..but there is alts ofc. and for example my alt lvl 70, and that happens to be an enchanter, and that didn't even excist at AQ times..im glad to get my hands on those, and it has nothing do me being a casual player.

But you're taking away a privileges from those who actually went to AQ etc. At least (like some suggested) make them a reward from Brood of Nozdormu then. That way it's still AQ people who gets it. Make it a reward for long time dedication towards blizzard. I don't care if "new" enchanters doesn't get the opportunities. Neither do I whine if I roll e.g. BS and there's some recipes I can't get. Because I know this. The way they're doing it now is just utter crap imo...

I don't understand how this in any way is bad news. Take the subtlety enchant on cloak for instance. There are like two or three players on alliance side who knows this enchant. What happens when they quit playing? Are we going to start farming AQ again to hope for a 5% drop from twin emperors?

Yes
(Fine then but at least make it a reward from BoN)

Me and my alt druid are not sad at all about these news!

neither is my mage who suffered from people with a fetish for collecting enchants

i didnt get what this what about untill qtips post.
To me it seems fair that everyone can get a hold on those enchants. But i agree that making it BoN rep required, would probably be alittle bit fair towards those who spend time in AQ farming for it. btw dont complain about you not making money anymore. This is what this is about in the end. Not to let a few people "own" the enchant marked. Perhaps vendor recipies is abit cheapish from Blizzard, but what would you have them do? make an NPC behind Gruul ?

sounds like a plan

Yes it's about money (more or less) I don't have a problem (any more) with them making it vendor bought but then just make it from BoN. I can see that people who're exalted got unlucky and didn't get any enchants so therefore it's fine if they just made from buyable from BoN. not some shitty outland faction where all is more or less exalted now. Don't make them become a common enchant. keep the "rareness" they have. (If this makes sence)

What about new realms then, where people have never been to AQ? I think they are re-releasing(?) these formulas in a great way, and yes, I am exalted with Brood of Nozdormu, so I believe I'm in the right position to say stuff like this. I don't think it's fair to let these unique enchants only be available to people who raided 1 year ago.

Best enchant ever. Best spent DKP in my life. I made hundreds of gold enchanting 15 agi on gloves and I thought that in couple of months there will only be like 10 ppl on the server that can make it hehe.

As a collector irl, I think there should be some rareties that is embodiment of previous achiements. We are one of in total 3-4 alliance guilds left standing that actually did AQ.
None of the pre-tbc items is sufficent in this case. Items like T1-3 are outdated, "funny" items like Essence of the Firelord and Shard of the Fallen Star are mere novelties, and items like Orb of Deception and Mechanical Yeti is dead simple to get.
Maybe some sort of kill counter, which showed what a guild had done? An ingame link to our guildname that showed what bosses we had taken down?

This is not sad news. Imo. Retail stuff is old shit, and they could ether make better enchants trainable or give the old ones to everyone.

Make new ones then. At least give us something to remember the AQ days

well, tully. surely you must have some good memories too. we did after all spend a lot of time in there, and we took a lot of bosses. maybe they can give us a "brood of nozdormu - exalted tabard"?
