Small technical issues that bug the mind...

So, I was like playing on my computer the other day and my brother was like dude.. does your computer allways react so slow? and I'm like yeah, it does so he says lol why, it's like, practically the same as mine. Note that he runs WoW with like 60 fps or so and I'm like looking at him with my mouth open like, dude I like, got 10 tops in shattrath, and that's when it's empty. So he clocked my processor today, seems to run 4 times as good as it did before, judging shattrath was quite busy when he tested improvements on my shammie.
But here comes the issue.. after he clocked my processor I was like, maybe I should defragmentate my secondary partition, FAT32 you know. So I did, spent all night and day today defragmentating my "E disk".
So now I got this thing up and running again, put on my headphones and it starts transmitting small rhytmic ticks 2 in 3 seconds or so plus it seems to transmit a cracking sound aswell as I have more programs open on the background, even a wordpad screen will make it more noisy.
Problem is, it's a farely new USB headphone, doesn't drop on the floor or whatever much, got all the drivers up to date etcetera and my computer doesn't detect any problems with it either.
It transmits sound just fine, I can still talk in it and it'll recognise the speech I transmit on my computer.
It seems to be affected by volume fe I turn up my volume and it'll become louder but if I mute my microphone it stops making those noises.

Anyone got any tips or something cause I ain't no wizzard on this area..
Oh and hows it going smile

I think you are experiencing a problem that my friend had before, try to get some kind of adapter or maybe switch place on the headphones on the USB. Did that for him and it work'd. Hope it works for you too wink

Re: Small technical issues that bug the mind...

I actually thought about switching USB slots with it but just haven't gotten the time to do so right now, thanks Daff I'll try smile.
Some reason it could be happening could be that the headphone is inserted in 1 of the 2 USB slots on my Logitech G11 keyboard which also happens to be able to mess with the volume just like my headphone, tho it's just speculations ofc and I'm guessing changing slots on the USB could work. I guess I'll just plug it in the back of my pc again then. So thx again smile
