Pure Raid DPS build

Dwight: Most people think Marv is crazy. He just had the rotten luck of being born in the wrong century. He'd be right at home on some ancient battlefield swinging an axe into somebody's face. Or in a Roman arena, taking his sword to other gladiators like him.

Re: Pure Raid DPS build

Looks really cool to me.
I guess with your gear you'd manage to get enough rage to spam all CGD's possible, shorter CD on whirlwind might be cool.

Also, the reduced cost on execute(20-0% on bosses is nice ?)
My suggestion: http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=LhZEVhVgxRiuioo

Cleave can be nice, on encounters where AOE is needed.
But as I said, I dont think the build I posted is any more superior. Its small gain either way.

Imp cleave is utter crap, it adds a whopping 14 extra dmg to cleave's base 70 extra dmg.
This is the spec i'd use for PvE raid fury. You can swap 2 points from dualwield specialization to imp execute if you want to.

Why imp whirlwind? because it will make sure that the cooldown on bloodthirst and whirlwind never coinciding with eachother, due to the global cooldown.

Why imp tclap? because as a raid PvE DPS warrior, your assignment doesn't only include doing DPS, it also includes assisting the MT in keeping up tclap and demo shout, and to a degree sunder armor, but that's kind of a moot point due to the new devastate.

Why not imp heroic strike? heroic strike only works against your dps by giving you a large threat boost(cleave is just as useless as cleave has 30 less innate threat than heroic strike does) that could end in you dying before the fight is over. The only time you should use heroic strike is when you are FAR(30-50% or so) below the MT, or the OT in fights that require such, in threat, and only a few times to make sure you don't bump yourself up in threat.

Theorycrafting? no problem! be prepared for ALOT of reading though, that thread is 100 pages long
Theorycrafting 2

Re: Pure Raid DPS build

Without HS how will you dump you rage?

With BT and WW only? (and if you cant ww like on lurker?)

You got a point with 1 talent in ww. Agree that cleve is crap.

Updated.

On many fights you can safety spam HS ------> hydros (you have to help killing adds), Morogrim (water tombs, drood tanking), karathress (multiple tanks) etc. On trashes, you only have to be carefull on 1st add in packs. So imo imp hs is imba for fury dps. And lately, really aggro wasnt my problem (maby my gear sux) but now after a patch - fury miss dead wish, and got extra 10% reduction.

Most highend fury warr's only use BT, WW and hamstring because they are always kicking their MT in the ass, and, as a result, are high on the dps meters.
