Re: to baloth.

You might want to reconsider imp evis, but thats just a matter of taste.

Re: to baloth.

imp evis could be nice, considering I use evis like all the time to finish the mob off when it has enery points left on him and he's running, though that could change in the future

I like riposte. The damage is pretty nice, and against some mobs the disarm usefull as well. Besides for pve there aren`t much better options around there.

And I agree on the murder. % damage increases are allways nice, and I personally found eviscerate quite lacking in tbc content, and using slice and dice instead so I would open with slice and dice active on the next mob.

But as I said before, its a matter of taste.

Re: to baloth.

eviscerate has terrible scaling. Just like druids Ferocius bite. (which is a ripoff of it)
I dont think i have used the ability in BC at all on my rogue. SnD and Kidneyshot has more uses, than a 5 CP talent, that crit for 800 sometimes. Its a very bad skill. I would aim for talents not benefitting this skill, since it takes alot of different talents to make it worth anything, and for those i could come up with some very fun looking ways to play, and alittle versality instead of the typical SS x 5 > evis combo

for lower lvls before decent gear
Riposte gives more dmg pr energy than Sinister , tbh for a grinding specc its a MUST! tongue

in addition to what i just wrote, if its to finish off a mob, evis is nice, but no point in using all talents to boost it, since its "the last act before continue".

my suggestion for a combat build:
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=f0eboxZGcEz0Vzx00oZVMIo

1 point in ghostly strike to make up for not spending points in dodge, but it can be placed elsewhere.
This one has awsome combo generation making it easier to use some different abilites, and still have the options to blow off a evis from time to time if you like that smile

Re: to baloth.

well, I find riposte to be very nice and not so bad for levelling

but when I'm looking at ghostly strike it looks farely nice to me, but it's hard to listen to all of you at the same time when all of you have pretty large/huge experience with the class

plus, I just stopped using evis because I find the damage it does easilly caught up with if I use slice 'n dice in a somewhat same amount of time

Re: to baloth.

remoresless strikes is really nice for leveling atleast and will be a much better way to spend 2 points than imp evis.

i disagree very there tbh ,
since you fight alot of the fights you can disarm and reduce dmg income from one source in 6 sec , over some more poisen proccs , and its also good dps ontop of its survivabilety.

For group / raid PvE i agree , Riposte is a dead talent for 5 man / 10 man / 25 man etc .
but for solo grinding / lvling , its a must imo.

Re: to baloth.

it's also cool in pvp as combat rogue, if the idiot class doesn't have weapon chain big_smile
