Re: Tanking interfaces/macro's

My tankadin UI looks like this while raiding and tanking smile

I have configured my ui so that it will change acording the person i'm targeting.. If it's friendly i'll get my normal/healing ui and if it's hostile, it will be my tank ui..

Kees, what ag_uf-interface is that? Been looking for a decent Player unitframe for months, and this one look quite cool. Have you got a download link as well?

Re: Tanking interfaces/macro's

Basically its pitbull

But (i know its kinda noobish tongue) i downloaded a compilation from the nihilum site, its called reborn. If you install it like they've set up for you, you get something like that.

Anyways i hope it helps.

Re: Tanking interfaces/macro's

jesus Von,

a. no wonder you can't tank anything without throwing salvation back and forth, how could you possibly see a mob with all those elements of UI,
b. looking carefully, the picture does indeed show how much in love you are with BoS.

no harm meant, teasing.

Re: Tanking interfaces/macro's

Kees:
I go with a DoT timer (NECB has one built in) to always keep TC and demo shout up and a CD timer (looking for a better one that gives me bars rather than just a number on the buttons which is distracting) for always keeping shield block and humping revenge / shield bash.]

You may want to invesy in tiny raid frames so you can keep an eye on healer mana and have faster, safer chain pulls. And I'm assuming you have healthpots/stones ready for easy activation somewhere although i can't see it smile

Please donate to the "One shot Aya with a shield slam fund", all bits of metalz welcome.

Re: Tanking interfaces/macro's

To Beardstorm (and everyone else who's nosy enough tongue )

Dot timers :
I do have dot timers, they appear above my own frame when i apply them. They start of as a sort of full bar, and decrease in length till the debuff wears off.

Raidframes :
About raidframes, i wasnt in a raid when i made screen tongue
They appear on the left side of my screen when im in a raid, and i made the mana bars extra big. But if you have an addon for something better, please say so smile

Pots/HS :
pots/healthstones are on my ''consumable bar'' (down right of my screen) no pots/food in there yet, since i have no reason to use those yet until i really start raiding TK and such. They always have a fixed spot there so im used to them (hpots/hs) being there, wich makes it easy for me to use. Practice is the key really.

Suggestions? :
Suggestions are always welcome, if anyone thinks his/her way is better then mine, say so. Im not gonna burn anyone for trying to help me smile i'll even encourage you, give me all you got, burn me as much as you want, but only if it's gonna be beneficial for me in the future ofcourse ^^
Always on the lookout to improve, as im sure you all are.
