I think Blizzard's CEO is a warrior and the CFO must be a mage.

Fair to add that since the post was made, blues already spoke about next 2 iterations of beta further modifying the numbers. Also doesn't apear in line with what our in-house betatesters report.
I wouldn't worry too much about that, yet.

The top reflects both before and after changes. The link inside link (http://simulationcraft.org/504/Raid_T14H.html) is updated to August 17th. But I agree we can expect a lot more changes.

To illustrate how accurate data we're talking about - here's the same for current patch.
So yeah, I'm not concerned.

What's wrong with that one?

Excepting warlocks position, I see nothing wrong with that. It's pretty accurate.

On single target fight:
- arcane mages simmed higher than fire mages
- marksmanship hunters simmed higher than both survival and beast mastery
- feral druids simmed higher than balance
- fury warriors simmed as the worse spec
All this and many, many more is clearly invalid, WoL supplying direct proofs.
Ironically enough, it does appear that warlock sims are quite in line with the actual data.

Like when only looking at Ultraxion data?

Although basing sims on content that isn't out yet is going to be way off the current numbers that is coming out.

Bring it on!

Like the logs clearly state they envisage a patchewerk fight. So yes, pretty much.

And head designer ghostcrawler plays a mage

I just ran some simulations, patchwerk elite player, with some current armory profiles.
Aliothe: 43159
Lamiah: 45763
Hessie: 42749
Inspectoropc: 52716
Nolix: 50346
Seems rather accurate to me.

I'm not sure what your examples are meant to present. What I've shown above is that simmed numbers are not supported by actual evidence - factual numbers prove that classes have different potential than sims would suggest.
This is based on Ultraxion, which is as close to a patchewerk fight as it gets.
With that said, I rest my case.

simcraft has always been about getting the best possible rng on said encounter. Sure I would be able to get 52k dps on ultra. with ToT and every buff out there, assuming RNG played to my favor. Sadle though, I've never seen anything past 51k, and that was 10 man, and a 2.5 min kill. I'm still above 80% WOL every try.
That should conclude that Simcraft is not always accurate, but more of a messurement of what you could potentially do.
Also; fury is still far from topping charts, even with new talents, which would make one doubt the accuracy of simcraft.
Bring the player, not the class imo.

Let's just wait and see a few more weeks, warriors and mages will always be good though
