Re: News from the Paladin Corner of blizz

Forbearance now reduces damage dealt by the affected player by 15%.

should be healing and damage...imho
it is a very powerful tool to cast BoP on a priest e.g

Re: News from the Paladin Corner of blizz

yeah, blizzard claimed that avenging wrath was never intended to cause forbearance, but was supposed to share cooldown with DS instead, and the fact that it doesn't share cooldown with DS was a bug... I lol'ed...

Guess what this page says: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/cla … pells.html

"Avenging Wrath

Requires Level 70
Instant cast
3 min cooldown

Increases all damage caused by 30% for 20 sec. Causes Forebearance."

The bug wrote all that too?

Re: News from the Paladin Corner of blizz

The _only_ reason they're removing the forberance debuff is so the mages wont be affected by it when they do a spellsteal, i bet my ass! So now they can spellsteal AW from a oposing paladin and get BoP by a allied one and go nuts! That was the sole reason they nerf vengance, wasnt it?

Re: News from the Paladin Corner of blizz

This was undocumented in the first part, meaning it was in NO PATCHNOTES.

It was discovered by paladin players on the PTR and then after serious whine they commented it and then "removed it"

Basically because of stuff like that, I did what I have been meaning to do for ages, stop my account. so from 01.23 01.03.07 I don`t pay for this game anymore \o/

If enough people stop playing the game, maybe blizzard will get the point in the end.

Re: News from the Paladin Corner of blizz

At these moments as a lvl 60 pala owner, im proud to say that im the owner of a lvl 70 Rogue.
But yeah these constant nerfs are just bs..and the owners of lvl 70 palas should just keep on playing?? while the class is getting heavy nerfs that makes the playing "not so enjoyable"..The PvP between classes is so unbalanced atm..huge nerfs for every class almost, just to make the owners of those classes whine/reroll/quit..i can't see the point of this from Blizzard..Blizzard clearly don't know how to balance the game and by that they try to fix all the buffs they've added to nerf them or nerf something else..Blizzard is clearly going in the wrong direction.

Re: News from the Paladin Corner of blizz

Blizz got pissed once - in 2005 christmas holiday period, when the lag, RCL and d/c issues forced *dozens thousands of people* (data from Vivendi PR guys) in Europe to cancel their accounts and when _major gaming magazines and websites_ wrote that World of Warcraft was not ready for it's popularity. Even american Blizz and Vivendi HQ got pissed, kicked Vivendi EU's ass and asked them to fix servers ASAP.

Until the pala/warlock/warrior/any class problem hits news and newspapers, they won't give a fuck. 1k paladins leaving the game in 1 day won't be even shown in their playerbase diagram. You know, it's like a drop of water in a lake.

Re: News from the Paladin Corner of blizz

Nah, lets make paladins unkillable and overpowered, thats would make the game fun smile

And comon, paladins are not weak, they havent been weak since patch 1.9, dont try to be the new warrior, cause you arent underpowered. If you spec right and have the gear for that spec(not healing) you KICK ass(prolly the only class capable of killing druids atm). Try ladder arenas and see how powerfull the paladin is, alone and for the group.

Re: News from the Paladin Corner of blizz

well i suppose you have to accept the fact that no single class can excell in every aspect of the game. It would be absurd to be a heavy hitting class that has the ability to heal, shield, crowd control, snare etc.
Every single class has its weaknesses and its strenghts. It's easy to say "this and that sucks" its harder to get over it and stand victorious despite your weaknesses by exploiting your opponent's weakness.
Ofcourse there are situations where defeat is inevitable. Its part of the game.

basically: get over your short commings and start enjoying the game. Else there is no point in playing at all.
