Haromm and Kardriss – The Dead Shamans

Haunted by some small setup issues early on in the reset, it felt like new heroic kills were slipping out of grasp this week. Farm bosses refused to get farmed, a few people played offspecs for the sake of filling the neccessary raid roles. Not the best week overall.

However, later on we cought wind in our sails and got the right momentum. Most of the Sunday raid was spent toying around with Haromm and Kardriss, the Dark Shamans. best attempt had them at sub 10%, but things weren’t going smooth enough. Monday proved it was mostly due to suboptimal assignments and as soon as we tried the small ammendments we prepared overnight, things started to click right away, resulting in a smooth kill on the second pull.

WoWScrnShot_102113_201152Sadly, this cought us slightly unprepared, thus we do not have a kill movie to share this time.

Iron Juggernaut

Those involved in Brawlers shady endevours are no strangers to this business. If we are meant to solo an elite forsaken with Arcanite Ripper, who is riding on a elite devilsaur, which is riding an elite flying shark with two rockets and a laser, than a heroic metal scorpion ish shredder with a flamtethrower, driller, lazer, cannon and whole lot of badass attitude is all in a day’s work.

Very good, fun fight. We heard about some unorthodox (to be very polite) tactics, but that didn’t work for us so we took it head on, just that with an extra healer. This extra healer was definitly the key to success here, a proper gnome sacrifice no one even bothered to ressurect for half of the encounter tells the whole story.

WoWScrnShot_100713_212942Regardless, after some near-death attempts, the dead gnome finally got the job done for us and so surprisngly enough we celebrated our second heroic kill this reset.

Throne of Thunder summary

All but final boss(es) killed in heroic mode, with a decent number of pulls put into Lei Shen. We could speculate how badly the summer impacted that last bit of progress, we could also blame the awkward setup requirements. Let’s not make excuses though. We tried, we didn’t score the kill of the uber-villain this time. More importantly, it didn’t feel impossible. That’s a thought to remember for the next patch.

I’d like to officially thank the raiding team as well as anonymous non-raiding little helpers for all the effort put into the heroic progression in patch 5.2. This was especially important and burdensome on the last 3 bosses, so Durumu, Dark Animus and Lei Shen. Rightfully so, since they are widely considered the hardest in the instance. Almost every single member of the roster really pulled his/her weight, allowing us to raid with only small break during the holidays. We’ve been there, we’ve experienced it, I don’t need to tell you the story

Dead Animus

Just before patch 5.4, so not a moment too early, with fairly good gear overall and tactics well worked out beforehand, still arguably one of the most exciting kills in Throne of Thunder for us.

anima killRoughly 170 attempts to score the kill, but that’s a little biased assuming all the issues brought by summer and holidays. Good job everyone, a little sad that some people had to be on backup, this feels like an achievement the whole team worked for.

The Enigma Order has left the building

Despite the recent lack of updates on the home page, these most certainly has been a lot going on. Lately we had the feeling that we fought in-game villains (which was cool), but equally much roster issues (which was not at all cool). Recruitment was harder and harder, replacing anyone who decided a break was in order felt nearly impossible. Eventually it became obvious that we needed a drastic change to carry on.

We considered various scenarios, such as going Stormreaver horde, merging with another alliance guild or migrationg to a whole different server. Eventually a referendum was made, which led to the final decision – a consensus was made to move to a Ravencrest EU!

This was done on 29th of May, so 2 months ago. Since then few things become obvious – first of all, it was a very good thing to do. Second of all – it was long overdue. Quality of life on the new server is so much better that it’s hard to describe.

Since we migrated we managed to extend our raiding roster so that we’re able to resume proper 25 man raiding. Also, granted the significant interest we received on the new server, resulting in a number of applications, we tried really hard to increase the overall quality.

At that occasion we also decided to update the looks of the home page as well as fine tune the forum a bit.

Big thanks to everyone who helped with the logistics and background affairs related to the migration, it was titanic work!

Things are looking good for The Enigma Order, but only new content available in Mists of Pandaria will let us test our new and rereshed capabilities.

The world is safe again

Small post to put it out there that Deathwing has been put out of his misery.

Sadly it was accomplished in 10man since our 25man raids have been difficult to fill up.
But none the less we finally got there and all the loot got disenchanted -.-

Also our noob hunters weapon broke during the kill attempt =D

But that´s all for this expansion let´s hope for new awesome raids soon
Peace out!

We haz title

Nefarian got so impressed he rewarded us with a new title for 30minutes for defeating his stupid, incompetent and disappointing minion.

Who needs minions?

Who needs a minion?

At first glance it seemed like a fairly “easy” fight but required some very specific fine tuning to actually kill it on almost every front and our healers had abstinence for more mana
The kill eventually flowed into a emo feast a few seconds before he went down but none the less he went down
